What a mad night. No one allowed to leave the ground on their own. We were put in a riot van and given a lift to our Hotel, with flashing blue lights and sirens! Raddison Blu? OMG! How did you know that! Yes, we were on the roof suite at the Radisson. Were you there too?

I wouldn't go for him either but I'm not sure what people are watching if they think what we realistically have is massively better. It isn't. Maybe not but there's absolutely no value in signing another mediocre defender to sit alongside the rest of the mediocrity that we are overrun with. If we'd have re-signed him when we were relegated it would have made sense but it makes no sense whatsoever right now. Gouranga.

Moving players on will be a massive problem won’t it mate? Who’s going to want to take Wimmer, Batth, Lindsay, BMI, and Bauer off us and inherit their ridiculous salaries? He’s going to have to work with them unfortunately....

I wouldn't have let him go in the first place tbh, put in a couple of decent performances at rb, got screwed over when put on the wing/right of midfield, not sure what he's like now though having not really seen much of him recently, if Edwards went would he be decent back up?

32 in October. As bad as we are, and as decent as he was for us, definitely one to steer clear of. I agree, he wasn’t that great when he played for us when he was younger and why would we want to sign a 32 year old player that’s played in a team that’s been as bad as us, of which he’s played a big part. Wouldn’t make sense to me.

Technically I still went nuts when the ball went in the net 🤣 Me too. One of the all time great mentals And when he scored the winner at the hawthorns having kicked the ball out of Fosters hands 🤭

His pub is class in Ched. He's done well there! Wouldn't be an awful signing, either. Must be getting on a bit though? Which pub is that?

Another CB then? Lyndsay, Collins, Ryan, Batth, BMI so why? And FFP will only count against us if we can't move on a few big earners. Who do you think he'd be better than among our current crop of CB's? There will be a lot of free transfers this summer so why take a chance on an aging slow overweight one that's probably looking for his last good pay day? Gouranga. Lyndsay Chester bmi Ryan Not that I'm advocating signing him

Always liked him as a player, looked useful. Never understood him going to be honest. That said, no point having him back now.

We can dispose of two of them and there still wouldn't be room for another ageing 31 year old. We're not going to be pushing for promotion with players like Souttar anywhere near the starting XI, I'm afraid. I can see another loan for him, and he'd need to stand out. I've watched him 3 times, all recent, and he's been one of the weaker of all of the CHs on display during those games. I can see us shedding Chester, BMI, and I can see Ryan hanging up his boots before long. That leaves us with Batth, Collins, & Lindsay. So we need to get shopping. I wouldn't take Shotton, due to age, but I'd hazard a guess that today, he is probably as good as, if not better than, any of the current CHs we'll be left with, and would be an adequate option for RB. If the choice was take Shotton, or take Chester, I'd go with Shotton, all day long.

It's all opinions but in order of preference Collins, Batth, Shawcross (due to injury), Souttar (due to prospects), BMI, Lyndsey, Chester and finally Wimmer, We can rid of 3 and still have 5 CBs available

We should be looking at players like Rob Dickie from Oxford United now they have missed out on promotion, and send Souttar or Wimmer on loan as part of the deal

We should be looking at players like Rob Dickie from Oxford United now they have missed out on promotion, and send Souttar or Wimmer on loan as part of the deal Maybe. And no. And yes, please. I don't really know the Oxford player, but surely we should look at him in more than just a couple of play off games before bringing him in. Souttar has been long enough out on loan. Either we fully commit to have him in the first team squad at the very least, with the odd game next season, and regular the one after, or we allow him to get on with his career elsewhere; there'll be plenty of takers, and he'll come back to haunt us soon after. Wimmer can go anytime you can fix him up with a full transfer, which nobody has been able to so far.

Hopefully we've had scouts looking at those teams trying to get into the championship for quite a while (before lockdown) he's been in the news a bit for quite a while for his performances
