If/when Jack moves on and with Federici not retained, which two new keepers will Stoke bring in?
Dave Rouse, the club’s new goalkeeping coach may have some replacements lined-up.

I think we only need an experienced back up for Davies with Bursik coming through. I don’t believe we should be spending money in that area when there are far more important positions to upgrade

I suspect gk won't be a priority. We've got to leave the door open for some outstanding young keepers, at the club. Davies definitely has the experience to be no.1 and Bursik played credibly at Altrincham on loan last year so deserves to be back up. Behind them we have Noukeu and Nathan Broome both of whom will want to be near the first team. There is no point in paying big wages to an experienced back up keeper.

Why wasn't Bursik on the bench instead of Noukeu on Sunday?

Ineligible cos of his season long loan at Altrincham.

Another clean sheet at the weekend for Marshall, now 14 for the season.
Only three keepers have more, 15 each.

Advertising tool for milk they must get so sick of the “accrington Stanlwy, who are dey” comment Used to go a couple of times a season with a mate from up that way whilst they were in the North West counties league I bought a shirt on there centenary year Looked very like Liverpools at the time apart from the Hollands pies sponsorship Wore it a few times out only to get shit another bloody glory hunter Only for me to turn round and say nah Accrington Found it tucked away in a drawer during lockdown Quite surprising how twenty five odd years of good living affects the shirt size

A half decent back 4 in front would make a huge difference to any keeper we may sign. But I think there will only be 1 coming in.

So a #1 with one appearance at this level in two years and a 20-year-old with a handful of League One appearances? That's demented

Serious suggestion: Giannis Anestis
... currently at the swedish club IFK Göteborg (Gothenburg), so we better make an offer before he goes to another country and becomes expensive.
He has previously played for AEK Athen and Hapoel Beer Sheva. And been on the bench in The Greece National team.
1.98 cm tall. 90 kilo.
Extremely good at saving penalties. Domination in the air.

I can see Joe Hart coming in as one of them. We'd be closer to his Shrewsbury roots & we'd probably be able to offer him a competitive wage with a fair bit of game time thrown in too.
Hart's always had a good rapport with the Boothen End when he's ran out with Man City in the past so sure he'd feel at home here.
Yeah he isn't what he used to be when he was at his Peak playing for England & Man City but looking beyond the Number 1 Jersey, Hart as an experienced pro would be good to have around the club especially to have amongst the younger keepers in training etc.
& as we're currently a mediocre Championship club right now, if we're after a keeper who'd have experience, be competent enough to play if given the nod then I can see Hart being a good fit for where we are right now, & where we aiming to go to.
