Keep my eye on Twitter for updates etc, and saw (surprisingly) just that Charlton are the latest about to be in mither as the EFL are investigating some issues with Companies House
So, if we are reading this right
Sheff Weds are subject to a 21 point penalty still for 2 counts, 1 involving the sale of their ground (to themselves?) and then trying to hide it
Derby and Mel Morris stand accused of similar at Derby
Wigan have entered admin and the EFL intends to apply a 12 point deduction this season should they avoid the bottom 3 naturally, or next season if they dont - all subject to appeals and MPs getting involved with their suspicious sale
Charlton have ongoing ownership and funding issues (fairly sure they were sold by a Scandinavian bloke who pulled all funds yeara ago, then the new owners had a massive fallout too?) so there is potential admin there too
Wont be the last I will bet, but it might be a bonkers adjusted table by the end!

We could just buy Wednesday , Wigan and Charlton must be a good 11 between them and cst a lot less than berahino , imbula and Wimmer and perhaps just a shaving Of the family dividend , how bloody fortunate we are to have the owners we have.

Just wish they would hurry up and dish out the deductions, really want this season to finish asap and to have safety, if its by teams being dragged in for being crap with their pennies then so be it.

I am personally very worried about the sheer scale of Stoke's financial commitments, and I am sure that if the truth be known, we are sailing very, very close to the wind in many regards. We are probably on the edge of disaster and we are hanging on to our stability by the merest thread. We know that Stoke have been extremely profligate in their spending and have allowed some horrendous contract deals over the last few years. The fact that we seem to be paying £35,000 a week to Afobe is one typical example. and then you have to add in all the hangers on, like N'diaye, Bauer and Wimmer. Our income is declining rapidly at present and even if we stay in the Championship we are probably only delaying a crisis.
We must be extremely close to a financial collapse, and if everything goes horribly wrong I don't think that any Stoke fans will be in the least bit surprised.

Charlton should have points deducted because of Lee Bowyer's jumpers alone.
