Empty car park Apparently it still takes an hour to get off at the end of the game..... that daft bollox of a car park steward would still stop you for oncoming traffic

Brilliant today.
I was very worried he was going to try the shot for the first goal, so that was great to see him not waste the fantastic run he made.
The second goal is lucky but he’s there to make it lucky and that’s not what we’ve had from Tymon when he’s played as the wing back.

He always puts a shift in. Made a big difference today and a part in all 3 goals. Got to love his passion after being left out he’s still stayed hungry.
Where are all those who continually knock him tonight?

We've lacked someone getting their head down and being a bit direct. he did that today

His energy, urgency and drive unsettles the opposition, wish we had his twin on the other flank.

There are some players , who seem to be over coached , and over think things .
Not Jimmy Mac .
James understands the team tactics and how MoN wants him to help his team mates .
But that doesn't stop him knowing from gut instinct that as soon as the whistle blows , he has got to get on the front foot , get the opposition rattled and hassled , and keep pressing and pressing them to try and force that key mistake .
Quite simply it is good football , he is right to that and it does affect the game ( in our favour )

If he'd been able to defend as his position called for it, we probably wouldn't have conceded. He's been spending all this time in training, to improve, not playing, and when he comes back into the team he's no better than he was before. But I blame O'Neill too, If he hadn't been such a coward he wouldn't have asked Tymon to shore things up at the back, when he must know that Tymon is useless as a defender. Now, are you happy, Gs?

Him and brown give us drive. Every time that they get the ball all they want to do is run at apposing defenders.

I’m not a fan of his, but to give credit where it’s due, he was brilliant today and was the reason we did so well for 70 minutes.
It was definitely a MOTM performance by him.

His hiatus from the side has been most odd. Break has done him good I think MON is a big fan so I’d guess he just felt James needed a rest. Don’t forget he had a number of big international matches in that period too. A hungry, fit James McLean is a massive asset in this league so hopefully we’ll reap the rewards!

In fairness to him he starts every game in one position and then is the first to be moved either backwards or forwards.
