We have thousands of fans in and our area as well as Nationally and Internationally and over the last three years we have all been on an emotional rollercoaster. At times this site has been horrendous to be on. There is so much anger out there and we as fans are ready for a civil war. The problem is that now is certainly not the time! So many people are crying out for players to start showing a little bit of courage to save our club. BUT I ask myself how many of us as fans are showing much courage and resolve. Just when Stoke City need us more than at any time we are all deserting the sinking ship. I believe Stoke City will beat Birmingham on Sunday and then hundreds of our so called fans will be getting back on board and believing again. After Sundays games clubs will only have three games to play ie a maximum possible nine points. Stoke could be seven points clear of both Luton and Barnsley by then. I think our destiny will be decided by who fills third from bottom. But remember we could be ahead of Birmingham by that time. I am trying to say to you Stoke family that at this time put all your moaning and groaning aside till the end of the season. Leave all you recrimination till its all over! Let's all think positively and be positive because as fans it is now when our club needs us most!

Tell you what though when I’m there at the game I don’t get that nervous, but behind closed doors I can barely bring myself to watch, I’m nervous as hell....

They do need us, you're right. But I don't think they particularly want us and I think the feeling is mutual.

The post lockdown performances show that a baying crowd is exactly what this work shy bunch of charlatans are missing and need.
Twenty thousands fans climbing up inside their arseholes every week, bullying them into submission.

Twenty thousands fans climbing up inside their arseholes every week, bullying them into submission. Because they played really well earlier in the season when we were all there.

Let me think, is it the supporters who part with large sums of their hard earned money to go and watch the game through the good and the bad, or the multi millionaire footballers who get to play a game that people would dream to play for a living before retiring in their 30s, even then they can’t be bothered to put any effort passion or dedication into what they do. Hmmmm it’s a tough question isn’t it

What a ridiculous question, despite spending more money than any other club outside of the PL since our avoidable relegation we have somehow "managed " to assemble a group of individuals who don't give a flying fcuk about the club, it's owners and it's supporters, they don't deserve anything other than the shit they are rightly getting, they are spineless, gutless, shameless the epitome of wankness, despite that you are trying to blame the supporters FFS. The blame lies firmly at the door of the board of directors with it's prehistoric flawed systems and incompetent management.

Quite obviously it’s the fans. After all it’s the fans who defend like drunks, it’s the fans who struggle to trap a bag of cement and it’s the fans who move at the speed of sloths. The only hope we have is that somehow we can eke 6 points out of 4 games- if we can we stay up and start next year with half of this lot firmly bombed out of the squad.

in an era of empty stadiums I'm struggling to think of a meaningful way in which I can "get behind the team". What is the OP suggesting? Writing to the club? A spending spree in the club shop, perhaps or maybe a prayer before bedtime. I just can't see that there's anything I could do at the moment to encourage the team to play better. I do hope someone is not going to suggest that this message board should magically transform itself into some gentle debate of sweetness and light because it's not going to happen and wouldn't make a scrap of difference if it did. There is nothing we as fans can do now. It's down to the manager and the players and unfortunately I've got very little faith in them being able to turn it round.

At the present time with no fan input at games i hardly think that they can affect the teams performance. Every team in both premier and championship knew it would be empty grounds and most results would not have been a lot different with fans inside. Fans love the club and rightly love and loath along the path of supporting the club. some feel and show it more than others. i support the club have my favourite players and less favourites through the years, its my opinion and we debate this at the pub, ground every week thats what makes a club. do i want us to lose no, do i get annoyed with some of the decisions and players yes. i see the team, manager and board of directors and others at the club as people who want to do whats right but some of them do not have the skills to do this, do they care probably yes are they good enough no. We are in a hole 4 games to go where we have to win probably 2 of them. if we go down then over 46 games we were not good enough. Top to bottom we need to radically chance in a short turn round for next season whatever division we are in. we need direction from the top and thats whats not happened, look at the manager no experience in English football and i think he would agree its been a struggle, the players we need to get rid of a lot but how you going to get rid??? all on contract and dont think the queue is very long for there signitures. Think we have a bleak next few years but i live in hope!!!!

I think that's the sole issue here. The rest of us spend a lot of time praying asking God, why us? Or why God,: Why don't you let Jack save a penalty? Why can't Jimmy mac control a football? Why can't Danny Batth turn and run at the same time? Why can't Tom jump and challenge for a header? Why has Chester forgotten how to read a through ball? Why haven't we got a midfield presence?

I think a lot of people are ready to give up on the club and who can blame them. 4 years of relentlessly shit football, pathetic signings. The club is a laughing stock.

As a supporter of nearly 60 years, i have stuck with my team through thick and thin. SoI think I have earned the right to tell It the way I see it. Right now we are absolutely terrible. That’s does not mean I am not going to get up early on the weekend, or stop what I doing for two hours midweek, hoping for the best and fearing the worst. And I’ll still go and watch live when I can.
