Regardless of whether we stay up or get relegated I think there's a good chance he'll walk out at the end of the season. From some of the comments and frustrations he has had recently I wouldn't be surprised.

I don’t think he will regardless of what division we’re in next season but his demeanour has certainly changed of late with him looking more and more pissed off every day

I don’t think so. He will want to put his stamp on the squad in pre season and have a full run at it. He’s come into a cesspit of a situation and I’m sure will be demanding a change in approach no matter what division we are in. Also walking away now will be a big black mark on his reputation. I trust the guy to make significant improvements in the coming season.

I can't see it, he needs to show he can hack it at club level, walking out on his first go since his international stint probably wouldn't look so great, if he's allowed to stay is another thing.

If we go down he'll stay another year at least to try and put it right. If we stay up I think he will walk while his record and reputation is intact.

He’s definitely starting to pick up on the massive issues we have at the club. Doesn’t sound happy at all. I’ve got full faith in him being the man to turn it around though and think he’ll be here regardless of what division we’re in next season.
Just got to scrape our way to safety somehow!

He has established a reputation to supplement his already good pedigree whilst he has been with us.
If we go down it won’t be his fault and he could very easily get a job elsewhere now he is on the English Manager Merry Go Round.
Should we go down and he stays he will go up in my estimations of him.
It’s down to the powers that be and how they mange the situation. It’s time somebody sorted this mess out. He could be the man to do it, but some egos upstairs and in the changing room may need to be dented.

He’ll stay.
He won 1 game in his first 24 months as Northern Ireland manager and turned them round, he’ll want to do the same with us.......

I think he’ll stay either way
But he has to stop making the batshit substitutions and formation changes no matter what league we’re in. He’s gone loopy since lockdown and that has to change. Should he carry that on next season he will be in trouble, no doubt.
He has to prove he can hack it at club level. He’s been given a chance, now he has to do something with that chance. Keeping us up would be a huge achievement to start off with. Absolutely massive:

Think he will stay either way. He wouldn't have relinquished the NI position if he had any doubts

Getting Campbell to sign a new deal and playing Sorro would make me feel no and make me think he's thinking long term.
I know he's frustrated but I don't think we should overlook the response he got from the players after the Wigan result. I know it didn't last and it was against a really poor team but I think he'll take heart that he's able to provoke something from that team. I'm not sure this happened with Rowett and Jones.

Really hope we stay up and he can start building his own team. I really felt he had something going before the lock down, but we have struggled more than the other relegation candidates after the restart. He'll come good in the end!

No, he's dealt with some of the bad apples and has plans. I can't see it. If I was managing that lot I'd be locked up now for several murders, so for him to look " a little pissed off", is very restrained in reality.

I wouldn't bloody blame him if he did that's for sure.
I like him and hope he stays but to be honest with this god awful senior management structure of JC and TS I really don't think any manager has much of a chance. Yeah nice loyal owners they may well be but they have run out of bloody ideas. Time for change or expect more of the same till we get to league 2.

I think he's lost any kind of confidence in the shower of shit he has under his managership. Last night was a classic example who was scared shirtless about the opposition. Ok, he only changed one player but the formation was another case of playing players out of position, Why the fuck didn't he go with the formation he set up against Barnsley. Nobody expected us to beat Leeds, but I don't think anyone expected us to ship 5 goals either. So damaging to our GD. I hope MON stays if only for the fact, who else would come here and try and get a consistent "tune" out of these aging fuckers.

Thought we’d got rid of the so called bad apples twice?😂 So who are the real bad apples and we’re the ones to go before not bad apples? It’s never ending.

He'll stay, but will he do a Nathan Jones, if the right offer, such as from a PL club, comes along? He might, he might also consider what happened to the original NJ when he left his cosy little Luton.
Watching the game tonight with one eye, and having seen some highlights from other games, I'm asking myself if he learned anything at all during his months out of the game. He still thinks you can impact games by using his vulgar body language, he still bites his nails unless he remembers to put bandaids on, and other stuff. Haven't seen him beat his chest yet, but there probably hasn't been many chances for that anyway.

I believe if he has had assurances from the powers that be they he has free rein to sort this mess out he will stay, if however he hasn't, then I can see him walking and who could blame him.

We've basically had to write of the first half of the season due to the abysmal signings of previous managers and the subsequent performances. MON has done a good job since he came in with the absolute toss that we have recruited. I really hope he stays and that the board back him although that may be difficult with FFP

Nobody walks these days do they? Too much cash at stake for them to do that.
Only way he'll walk out is if he's got something else to walk in to.

I would guess he means both.. obviously he can only lose players that are out of contract or another team is mad enough to want to buy I agree. We are stuck with a lot of old players on lucrative contracts that have years to run, thanks to Rowett and Jones. MON is between a rock and a hard place. He will not walk away from us, back to NI just as he didn't walk away from NI, but he may be an attractive manager to a number of other clubs (or national teams) and be tempted away, particularly if he does not see eye to eye with other senior people at the club. One thing he does need is better assistance. I've watched him during our recent bad performances and he doesn't seem get any support, advice, etc. from the likes of Delap or anyone.
