I since the age of 5 I have followed this club home and away and was a massive part of everything I did, booking holidays around fixtures etc. I became totally disillusioned after our fall from the Prem I so decided not to have a season ticket. I thought I would succumb and renew after a few games, however I didn’t and have not missed it one bit. I still care about my club and still read up and occasionally go to games, however Stoke City is not now the be all of life. Sure I miss the away trips with mates , but can still have days out without the heartache of having to endure 90 mins of , in most cases, pain and frustration. The demise of our club is in my eyes down to one man Tony Scholes, Mr hirer and firer, until he goes this club will continue to suffer. I hope in the near future he goes and my desire returns, but I won’t be holding my breath, it seems like this bloke is untouchable. I realise I am but one supporter who has had enough and turned his back, I do wonder how many more will follow suit before the club reacts.

If we go down I think the effect on ticket sales will be catastrophic, this could well trigger action as I don't think the family will want to be seen to be throwing dosh at a failing business. No matter how much we vilify Mark Hughes he bought some wonderful players that at times were a joy to watch, unlike the managers who followed him.

So to clarify you lost interest after our Premier League demise. But you hope in the future your desire returns, probably around the time we make our Premier League return.....

Nothing to do with being in the premier league I just want to see honest, footballers being paid decent money but giving a dam about what they are serving up, regardless of the division. This bunch of players and Tony Scholes are taking all supporters as mugs. If you are okay with that fine, but I am done with average Joes earning obscene amounts of money and not caring. At least the majority of the Pulis and Hughes squad cared.

But there comes a time when you look at finances and your life and think can I really be arsed watch utter utter shit

We have lost the unity, pride for the shirt and fighting spirit that Pulis created and Hughes took to the next level - and this demise came about directly due to exec complacency and a sequence of negligent decisions and lack of a coherent strategy for the club. Scholes MUST go as well a number of others come the end of the season.
