Ndaiye and Etebo made it obvious they wanted to leave the club. No point in keeping players if they won’t play for you. This is one reason why football is so shit because players hold all the cards and we’ve had more than our fair share of these wasters to the point of them being a good bit of the reason we are where we are imo. Don’t know why Woods was allowed to go on loan. Jones got both badou and etebo playing so it’ was not impossible for 6 months until we could Re set It was a ridiculous decision to loan all three He did get them playing but they both still didn’t want to be at Stoke. That’s the difference.

That’s the difference. There are plenty of players who can play when an end of season move is agreed and if they are as mercenary as we are wld to believe a reduced fee etc Even free would wjve been cheaper than crashing into league one . For a supposed bean counter are ceo is naive as well as arrogant and incompetent

We'd be shit in League One. Teams at that level are all about heart, desire, organisation, and what they lack in skill, they make up for in physicality.
We're just as lacking in those departments as we are in basic technique. You'd see big centre forwards tossing James Chester and Tommy Smith around like rag dolls. it'd be carnage, and I doubt we'd even finish in the top half, we're that fucking shit.

It's a hard one to judge. That league is absolutely pitiful in quality but big on heart and desire. Would our squad have enough quality to overcome that or would they be outfought most weeks? The issue we've still got is the hangover from the Premier League relegation that was never sorted out despite the owners and their half witted overhaul statement. We've since added to that hangover and compounded the misery. I wouldn't bet a bag of washers on this lot and i'm fast getting to the point where I wouldn't cross the road to watch them. It wouldn't surprise me to see us rinse the league equally as much as it wouldn't surprise me to see us completely implode and go down again. I have no faith in the owners any more, never had faith in the CEO, am fastly losing patience with a manager that is making stupid mistakes and the entire squad I hold in utter contempt. Superbly put.

Other than that you think pretty highly of them 😉 , I don’t disagree by the way albeit I think some of the players are being labelled by their colleges Campbell , Allen , Collins , Smith actually . Powell , McLean will I’m sure still do well elsewhere which in turn says the manager hadn’t addressed some of the key issues , having 3 of our best 4 midfielders out on loan as we get relegated is criminal by all those in authority . Ndaiye and Etebo made it obvious they wanted to leave the club. No point in keeping players if they won’t play for you. Don’t know why Woods was allowed to go on loan. Because he was tired of not being good enough for Stoke and didn't want to play?
