Commentators on radio stoke talking about how we may end up hoping Wigan’s points deduction will help us stay up. Not a great position to be in at all, survival is still in our hands but the point we start to depend on other results going our way for survival is nearly here Unbelievable position to be in. My biggest worry is that those around us seem to have a greater hunger to survive than we do.

We have a few things going for us, hopefully Brentford have sealed 3rd and will rest a few. Forest hopefully be is a play off spot so them the same. And Bristol have nothing play for. Saturday is huge though. We have to win it’s as simple as that

Birmingham are the worst team in the league on current form. Bristol city had lost every single game until last night.
We couldn't hand pick two better fixtures.

It was always likely we were going to be in this position once we had the start of 8 points from 15 games though.
For us to have the huge chance of staying up we currently have is a bit of a miracle.
We should still be fine. 3 points on Sunday and we'll nearly be there.
I was expecting a pretty meek defeat today - Leeds can do this to anyone in this league, certainly a team as largely shit as us.

Birmingham must win....end of. Need to be stuck to hogan, Bellingham and jakkonavic( or whatever his name) is.
Christ if ever there was a game when you needed a ferocious crowd

He’s taken players that no Leeds fans thought were capable of playing that way, players that under the likes of Heckinbottom were just Championship plodders. That’s the sign of a top class coach.....

Yes Leeds are class, but hell these are well paid professional footballers who are a shambles, can't run, can't pass, can't tackle. It was quite simply a training session for Leeds, no more. Quite possibly, if that's possible worse than Wigan. Quite how he selects a team for Sunday to get a positive result is quite beyond me. I am normally positive, but I currently can't see any.

Not heard that one for the best part of 4 days... The club has been asleep for the best part of 5 years, and continues to do so. Comatose.

I think we need points deductions aplenty!
The only glimmer of hope is we survive and next season put together such a great side (ha!) That we earn promotion and everybody hates us for it in the EFL!
Well, that's my dream

Can see Hull beating Millwall saturday then Luton the week after. We need to beat Brum and Bristol. Then a showdown at Forest for the final day.

I don't think today's changed anything. We're not very good, but neither are lots of the other Championship dregs. Sunday is very big though. If we win that, I think we'll be pretty much there - but if we don't it's certainly going to get pretty bumpy.

Survival on clubs going into administration. I've heard that John Coates's mate from the pub who suggested Nathan Jones has been promoted to the board.

You are right of course FM but it’s so utterly depressing to see how fast we’ve fallen from an established Premier League club to not now being able to field a team that doesn’t regularly embarrass itself in the nether reaches of the Championship. The last time we got relegated to the third tier was unacceptable but we didn’t then enjoy the financial riches we have now. The situation were in is utterly unacceptable and is down to complete incompetence about how the vast sums we have had have been spent. Managers come and go, players come and go yet the one employee who’s overseen all of this is still running the show! BM
