Agreed - if it is some Dunkirk - esque rearguard action with every man jack throwing himself into the fray, then of course.
The trouble might be however, if we set up for and try and play for a draw, I think we'll come very unstuck - we usually do.
I'd rather we go at them from the off, putting them under pressure.
Get a Tyreese hat trick in the bag first half and even we should be able to hold out a 0 - 3 lead? 🤔 That was sort of our game plan at West Brom, and we hung on to just one there! True ... I'd genuinely forgotten we could be that good.
(we've had several abberrations since then tbf ...)
But, no, that would do nicely. Very, very nicley actually.

If we run true to form, we should win seeing how many winnable games we' we've lost.

I think back to the very recent Wigan performance, and unfortunately have to say, NO.
EDIT. to give us a chance, I would think that any result for us would have to relate to a VERY dramatic night, with perhaps a penalty or three for us (giving us an opportunity to score one) and then a couple of sending offs for Leeds. So given such circumstances, then yes I am confident.

If we play our best team, we can only play on the front foot, with Tyrese keeping them busy with pace, Vokes using his physicality and McClean working that wing. Cousins to not move from his place in front of the back four and Powell and Clucas to sit or go forward depending on the mood of the game. Don't sit back, but keep it tight. Give them something to think about up top.

Even more likely perhaps, Bielsa might instruct his CBs to just let us run through and score unopposed like he did (but Pontius Pliate didn't get the memo)?

It's all the others at the back that worry me tbh.

It's all the others at the back that worry me tbh. That's why I'm saying go forward sensibly is the best option. Obviously they're a good side, but it's ludicrous to try and play for a draw as we're bound to lose. Play in a positive manner and we may get a point anyway by giving them more to think about. Defending from the front means we might get them to hit it long and that way we take off the pressure a little as we're poor at defending constant attacks! But, with McClean and Campbell we have an outlet.

Not in the slightest, but this league kick up funny results. Key thing is to be in the game at 60-70 minutes.

Not confident but there's always hope. A positive start is crucial, we have to score first. Our front 3 is our main hope. There is enough quality there to score goals and if we're positive and have a go we might stand a chance. If we're negative and try to hold on we're simply not capable of withstanding any pressure and we'll get beaten 3 or 4-0.

Bonus game, keep em' fresh for Bristol City? As mentioned elsewhere when we tried that against Chelsea we didn't beat Newcastle a few days after. The best plan is to play your best players and deal with cards & injuries as they come. I don't see why we can't at least grab a point here, playing firm and tight football with Vokes and Campbell keeping it busy.
