May be a limited player at times, but has never really let us down, keeps it simple and one of Jones underrated signings.

My MOTM today. Went about his job in midfield efficiently with minimal fuss.
Was a bit worried he started off a bit crazy horse but it worked out well.
Underrated player for me.

He is one that doesn't hide, ask him to do a defensive mid job and keep it simple and he will. Zero composure on the ball but that applies to a few of ours! Not the worst and while Joe is out he can manage the holding role.

Cousins was good today.
He kept it simple and did the job asked of him. Protected the back four and kept the passing simple. As that in a 4-2-3-1 it’s his best role. We all now know this lineup must remain against Leeds.

Would today's performance took a lot out of them and with a massive game against Brum should we make a couple of changes for Thursday?.

Would today's performance took a lot out of them and with a massive game against Brum should we make a couple of changes for Thursday?. I would normally agree and make changes for this game and right off Thursday but........... Is it too much to ask for Stoke to dig out a truly memorable performance after 3 years of us being shite?

Would today's performance took a lot out of them and with a massive game against Brum should we make a couple of changes for Thursday?. Campbell was blowing hard and knackered when taken off. I think he should saved for Brum. even though he was good against Leeds reserves in the League Cup game. I think it will be 5 - 4 - 1 against Leeds and try and snatch a goal from a set piece, in true Pulis fashion.

Id play Diouf out wide Thursday, just because it would be proper Mame to go and grab the winner, whilst it rests Campbell for Brum.

He’s an average Championship midfielder at best. But he’s exactly what we’ve lacked this season, someone willing to do the dirty work in midfield.
He was my motm yesterday but if we stay up and are serious about challenging for the top 6 next season then we need much better.
Sam Morsy and Alex Mowatt have impressed me when I’ve seen them this season, both do the same job but have much more quality on the ball.

Thought he did well, it was nice to see a team without glaring gaps all over the place, makes a change having someone that isn't constantly out of position.

Subs to feature earlier in the game, Birmingham has to be the priority, we need to retain our confidence though I’d start Vokes and Campbell but agree, Campbell needs to be used sensibly. We need to keep him injury free

My MOTM today. Went about his job in midfield efficiently with minimal fuss. Was a bit worried he started off a bit crazy horse but it worked out well. Underrated player for me. I thought Cousins and BMI played really well today - in the thick of it. Performed far better than expected. Two very satisfying performances. In fact, across the board couldn’t fault the the players. Looking at this weeks games - this could be a defining week for one or two teams.

Jordans Cousin does a decent job when surrounded by the right players. Like Whelan and Whitehead used to..

That Ryan Woods at Millwall looks decent😀 Watched him Friday night, average at best, still looks like he’s running around in a paddy field. Honestly, not much if any better than Cousins and definitely not worth the difference in what they cost. Agree with other poster we need better for top 6, but still a handy squad player.

Woods is not the answer, we need a mobile CDM with a bit of passing ability, I think alongside Allen, Thompson could develop into that role, he can pick a pass and has a decent range of passing.

You must be watching a different Thompson than me I want to see more of him to judge him properly but he’s been largely anonymous for me the only time I’ve noticed him is when he’s given silly fouls away.

As a freebie squad player I don't think we can complain about what Cousins has brought to the table.
He's been slightly better than I thought he'd be, but glad we didn't spend any money on him.

I quite like him and have done from the start.
He's had some shockers and made some mistakes but that is inevitable in this side.
He never hides and he's an honesty and selflessness to his game that I quite like.
No problems with him from me.

Having said that though he’s not someone we paid big money for and wouldn’t be the first I’d ship out Yes he did, though a lot of players have been done for that. Robertson for liverpool the other night against citeh had a mare at doing that and give about 4 goals away. Foden had him on a piece of string.

Very good performance from him today, makes a massive difference to the side defensively with him in the side. We all agree he is limited in some aspects but you need players like him sometimes.
