Bound to be those who disagree, that's the whole point of a forum. But given the awful reality of our current situation I'm reading current/ new threads about Erik Pieters and Fat Charles saying Hughes would of kept us up.
How many more times do we have to disect the past before it is put to bed. We have had the following and more used as reasons /excuses. Butland v Leicester Adam v Brighton and Everton Diouf v Burnley Butland v West Ham
Umpteen others as well.
Now I along with most of you have been through the shit and are going through it now. I was there for the 3 wins horror season in the 80's . Norwich at home 4000 odd, Everton 7000 odd . Was there for the memorable Lou era. I just sense our fan base now has some sort of entitlement to the Premier League and won't accept anything else. Does anyone on here think that Swansea fans are still harping on about it ,I very much doubt it. And yes I'm aware we spent millions and millions of pounds on shit The recruitment, long contracts and sticking by managers were all to blame as well as the players.
But again it's only my opinion when are we actually going to move on ? I get sick of reading the same old shite whether it's Crouch, Adam, Berahino or whoever. It's fucking boring. We went down because we were one of the worst three teams in the division according to the record books.
The autopsy on the dying corpse has now been going on for 2 years. Like it or not the Premier League is sailing into the distance. If we do stay up there is a good chance we end up like Sheffield Wednesday and just meandering about for a decade. But I'll still be there it's a huge part of my life.
I'll repeat again I'm sick to death of hearing it and continually going over the same shit actually proves nothing. Main concentration now is getting maybe 7 points from 6 games to stay in this League.
