So, this is the first time since May 2015 and a game against Stoke that Liverpool have been 3-0 down at half-time in the Premier League.

After tonight why would Liverpool not just play their U23s?
They’re in no other competitions and that rest could be key for next season.

A complete logical idea and one I personally wouldn't have any qualms with, but what about the integrity that was been branded around when null and void option was mentioned.

With the Champo League being finished in August I wonder if that puts Man City with a strong advantage heading into next season?
I read somewhere that next seasons will start either end of August or start of September. Man City should be sharp and fit to go.

That’d be my attitude anyway 😂 You look after yourself.

Phil Foden is easily the most exciting English talent since the emergence of Rooney. He's absolutely fantastic, as a players he reminds me of Gazza without the antics.
The best thing was for Euro's to be pushed back for England as this lad will be one of this first names on the team sheet and happy to stick my neck out and say possibly one of players of the tournament. Utterly phenomenal talent.

Huge shoes to fill but he looks ready.

Side note, the young right back Williams who has just come on for Liverpool is the kind of loanee Stoke should be looking at. Great career ahead of him.

Yeah they would be. They’d be mad not to rotate really. Might still want to go for 100+ points? Maybe but with all the caveats over this season I really wouldn’t be arsed with that and would focus efforts for next season. They were just discussing how it’d work with next season and they didn’t seem to know. So I guess it’s a gamble just letting them off in case it is a week off and back into it for next season.

Forget Rooney/Owen/Lampard- these lads could be the real deal.

Jude Bellingham supposedly choosing Dortmund over Man Utd was a sensible decision for the lad and good for the national team...

Some of the younger players look fantastic. Mason Mount is looking like a proper player now and Billy Gilmour coming through. I think time may have quickly passed by the likes of Calum Hudson Odoi and Declan Rice already unfortunately
