Think how many Stoke fans would love to have just one chance for 55 minutes on the pitch at wide right to show him how it should be done.

It was an utterly diabolical performance. I’d like to see stats for Cousins and Ward too as it looked they had equally abysmal showings. Collins also actually. In fact there would be stiff competition for the worst showing ever in a Stoke shirt from most of them. Embarrassing. BM

I hope when O'Neill talked about attitude he was referring to this utter waste of skin. The bloke is a disgrace, a good player in his own head only........

And yes he's young and was out of position but I keep hearing how comfortable on the ball he is so that only washes to a point. His distribution was dire and he looked like he was running in treacle. Edwards fitness/lifestyle must be a genuine concern if he's not even in the match day squad.....

I think that having Tom Ince in the squad, and have him try to live up to the standards and expectations of his dad, Paul, is rather like a team signing George Weah's cousin.

He's shit, he's always been shit in a Stoke shirt, he's a gutless coward and I don't know how anyone can stick up for him.
Dreadful player.

What has happened to him and other vast swathes of players at our club. When he signed I was genuinely pleased as he looked like a hard working and creative attacking threat everywhere he had been up until Huddersfield. This seems to be a common denominator- we picked up players based on name and what they had done and perhaps they were all just looking for a nice meal ticket having reached what they assumed to be the pinnacle of their careers already. I don't know really, but he is a shadow of the player he should or could be and is purely getting a game now based on name alone- if he was an academy graduate and had come into the side this year and played as he had done his contract would not be renewed and he'd be looking for a League 1 team to move onto at best...

The reason why I call him "1 in 10" ?
He only ever turns up for 1 game in every 10.
Shocking

That sounds right on paper til you consider the threat he was for Derby and there his dad was always in the stands watching and sticking his oar in at the training ground and with the owner.

It was poor, he did better when he came on in the previous game, created a couple of chances but he's had a bad season, so have others, but the manager keeps playing them over and over, Chester, Butland etc, if they are constantly crap why is he still picking them.

I agree that he did better when he came on and I think it's a theme with him, I've been banging my gums at my lad about it almost since Ince arrived, he seems to only perform when coming off the bench or is generally far more effective when doing so. Whilst we have 5 subs we should maybe try bringing him on after 5 minutes

I thought the 1 in tem is his average rating. Must have got his aggression Gene's from his mum. Worryingly he cost nearly as much as shaqiri. 4 times more than Lenny or ring tone. Truly useless Snowflake

When you look at all the clubs he has played for, signed or loaned, and management changes, Ince probably holds a record for the number of managers he has played for.

I too was delighted when Ince signed for us, based on his reputation at Blackpool and Derby in the Championship. He always played on the right of a 4-3-3 at Derby, where he provided plenty of chances and cut in for goals, and I thought if he was given a chance there he'd show what he could do. But based on last night, my faith in him has been smashed. It's gotta be an attitude problem. He's just lost his desire for the game since signing for us and even his Dad can't seem to gee him up anymore.
