What we have done on several occasions this season is pull a result out of the bag when all seemed lost. Wins against Swansea away, Barnsley away, Sheffield Wednesday home and Cardiff home all came after pretty horrific performances and fans giving the players dogs abuse. I know I'm clutching at straws, but it's all I've got! I thank you. 😊

I don't think I'd realise that Tyrese Campbell is on a hat trick without Matt Sandoz mentioning it every 30 seconds. He is an awful commentator. Yapping on about Stoke winning when Barnsley had a direct free kick, missed why Campbell was booked for kicking the ball away, forever mixing up Clucas and McClean

Dare I say that Powell is playing as a right central midfielder next to Clucas with Cousins behind, and that we are playing 4-3-3. That was definitely how we played, worked better than I would have predicted, got the best out of all the central 3 who all worked hard

Decent ale, like it with food at lunch time. Seasonal though isn't it? Like all SN beers, proper ales with a distinctive taste. I currently live near West Berkshire brewery. If you like to try good quaffing ales seek out their Good Old Boy. If you ever see their Dr Hexter's Healer on Draught it's a Must Buy! Yes is a seasonal beer, to be honest I'm not a bitter man, but took my licence with Shep, and regularly was at the brewery. More of a lager lout myself. OMFG I'm talking to a lager drinker!

It seemed to me that Powell and Clucas played either side of Cousins, Powell wasn’t an out and out 10 Disagree mate, he played in the hole behind Vokes with McClean and Campbell either side of him. However when they were in possession, he did an awful lot of tracking back, worked his cotton socks off actually. It absolutely wasn't 433, Vokes was clearly a lone striker, with McClean and Campbell covering their full backs when they had possession and joining the attack when we had.

-12 = 38 pts and 24th position. What am i missing? I said we were 17th he said 18th having forgotten Wigan have been docked 12pts. Your right as of today Wigan have 38pts and bottom and we are 17th, although they wont update the deduction until the last game.

That's Ince back in against Leeds I Would start him at Leeds and rest Campbell and Powell and bring them on for the last 30 so they are fresh for Birmingham and Bristol City

What do we reckon, 4 more points will be enough? It could be but would leave us exposed to a shock result. The Wigan situation is unpredictable - will they lose 12 points, will they go bust, will this case mean the Sheff Weds one is finally resolved? With our goal difference, 6 points would be solid 8 points clear of Wigan now

Dare I say that Powell is playing as a right central midfielder next to Clucas with Cousins behind, and that we are playing 4-3-3. Exactly right. He was much deeper, his great shot came from coming from that position, he was never far enough forward to be a 10 today. Second half we were more 4-5-1 and he was making tackles on the edge of our box

Disagree he was nowhere near as far forward as when he plays as a 10. Second half he was like an old fashioned right half making tackles on the edge of our box. Clucas the same on the other side giving McClean more space. We decided not to play through midfield and went long consistently bypassing the midfield and presumably that’s why we didn’t have a 10. His second half shot came from deep and he made 2 great runs from deep to win the corner for the first goal and in the second half down to the left corner flag

8 points clear of Wigan now Is that confirmed mate? The 12 pts deduction has it's not applied until after the last game pending any appeal. That's if they don't plummet now into automatic relegation in which case they start next season in -12.

Used to enjoy it but tended to go with the standard bitter master brew Hardy Hansons Kimberley Ale used to give me force 10 wind and then there was Shipstones! The fish gut lined barrels put that in a league all on its own! Â Used to love a pint of Hardy and hansons mild

We absolutely set up from the off in a 4231. Clear as day.

Anybody else notice how little fight Barnsley had in them?
A few decisions went against them today and they didn't appeal / complain once. For our third I thought it should have been a goal kick, they didn't even claim for it. Then as the corner came in ALL of their players are getting blocked off without complaining - Batth is wrestling one towards his own goal for a good 5 seconds, when the ball hits the net Batth lets go of him, he puts his head down, turns around and walks back to the halfway line like he's out for a stroll with the missus. I'd have been livid.
They were unbeaten since the restart, winning twice. I really don't understand this league.

Always thought Master brew a better bitter, but sold far more Spitfire. Spitfire was my session beer of choice, love it. But Bishops Finger has 20% more alcohol for the same money, so it's a no brainer! You were never quite sure where that Bishop may have stuck his finger though Titanic Brewery's Life Boat and First Class are great ales brewed in Burslem!
