There’ll be people doing Charlie off the bar again before you know it Colin.👍 As long as they wash their hands before and after.... Not forgetting to wipe the tenner between sniffs.

Do you think as the night goes on, it will be a case of sod it lets get back to normal. Standing at the bar etc , people singing around a piano? There’ll be people doing Charlie off the bar again before you know it Colin.👍 Not sure who Charlie is. I overheard Trevor saying he did Charlie one night.Think he said he did Charlie in the toilet and in a store cupboard at work. I’m think it is a medicinal type of thing.

Going to be chaos tomorrow. Not so much inside but there'll be huge queues outside I suspect.
Once the pubs start to realise how much business they're losing they'll start to bend the rules until they become unrecognisable.

Been Cask Bar in Hartshill which was 25 people in for 2 1/2 hours. Move on to Greyhound after which is limited people allowed in. Fill out a form, sit down, bird takes an order and delivers. Not my cup of tea but nice to get out for a few and not one dick head in sight👍🏻 So far!

Looks like from the news we’ll be looking at a second wave now after the idiotic behaviour of many last night. Should have just opened restaraunts and not served alcohol. The idiot side of the great british public just cannot be trusted to behave.

I do like Macc too, its a great place to drink, not a massive amount of pubs but a very good drink to be had👍 There’s enough pubs to make me think I was getting on a train back to stoke when I in fact ended up in Manchester!!🤣 I got pissed in London after being there for a day at work one time. Staggered on to a late train to Stoke and woke up just as we were pulling in to Preston🤪

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/news/stoke-on-trent-news/police-stretched-super-saturday-stoke-4295125What a terrible report this is. For starters, why is a report about apparent drunken behaviour in Stoke-on-Trent accompanied by a photo of Borough Market in London? The article is based on a tweet from the Chief Constable of Staffordshire Police, Gareth Morgan, who "did not highlight in particular where there had been issues". Well get on the blower then and ask him!!! The Sentinel has had reports (Twitter posts in other words) of drunken behaviour in Stafford town centre. No other details mind. And we're supposed to take this seriously?

Now that Local World is owned by Reach Media it’s gone downhill drastically. Usually full of click bait articles to drive that ad revenue up.

So what was it like last night locally? I heard that only a couple of places in Burslem opened and only a few places in Newcastle bothered, Yates' didn't open. Any truth in this, or Chinese whispers (if I'm still allowed to say that 🤔)?

Which is why I’m pleased I don’t live there now. lived in Islington for 6 months and that was enough.

I can't begin to imagine what living in Peckham or some other London dump must be like, poor bastards.
