Nothing to do with anti-Semitism, everything to with anti-Socialism.
Fuck off Starmer.

Sacked for liking a Maxine Peake article that contained the following quote:
“The tactics used by the police in America, kneeling on George Floyd’s neck, that was learnt from seminars with Israeli secret services.”
I guess Amnesty International must be antisemitic as well then:
Meanwhile, another prominent member of Starmer's shadow cabinet sings the praises of an ACTUAL antisemite and no one bats and eyelid:
Funny old world........

Nothing to do with anti-Semitism, everything to with anti-Socialism. Fuck off Starmer. How do you work that one out? The fact that US police forces are trained by Israeli military personnel is neither anti-Semitic nor a conspiracy theory: it is a statement of fact. And I'm fairly certain she wasn't endorsing that specific point of Maxine Peake's article either. But we can keep pretending that the Labour anti-Semitism issue will go away by acts like this, whilst Rachel Reeves carries on lauding an anti-Semite. Meanwhile black Labour MP's on the end of bullying and gaslighting are forced to sit back whilst Starmer kicks the can down the road, forensically of course.......

Nothing to do with anti-Semitism, everything to with anti-Socialism. Fuck off Starmer. How do you work that one out? PP has answered fully, it's simply not anti-Semitic and she didn't even say it anyway. She was the last remaining shadow cabinet member with any genuine left wing voice and this is not the way to tackle this heinous Government. What actually pisses me off most though is Starmer's tacit support for the Tory response to covid, his failure to back some his own black back benchers and this morning, he couldn't even bring himself to say the Jenrick should be sacked. Yet he's prepared to play Billy Big Balls over this? It's pathetic, it's not opposition and will change nothing I want to see changed. Fuck 'em.

The article has been amended now with this at the bottom:
"UPDATE (25.06.20): A previous version of this article reported that a 2016 Amnesty International report had found that hundreds of US law enforcement officials had travelled to Israel for training. Our article also implied that this training could have included neck kneeling tactics. While it is true that US law enforcement officials have travelled to Israel for training, there has been no suggestion that this training involved the tactics referred to in the article. The article has been amended accordingly."
whoops.
Other than that there's quite a lot of bollocks in there.
“Those people who were normally Labour supporters who felt they couldn’t vote Labour? Well I’m sorry, they voted Tory as far as I’m concerned,”. No mention of Brexit. I'd have voted Labour, as I have done before, if Corbyn had stood by his convictions on the EU. So would 100s of thousands of others. Now we'll get the Tories or the woke Tories to choose from instead.
There's also this gem:
"In 2018, Peake starred in Peterloo, the Mike Leigh film that recounted the deadly suppression of a peaceful protest by Manchester’s cavalry in 1819. It’s a little depressing that those sorts of things are still happening now. “It is, isn’t it?” says Peake."
You what? Things like the Peterloo massacre are still happening today? I missed that.
I still don't understand why Long Bailey has been sacked for this though. She's retweeting an interview with a popular actress from a mainstream UK newspaper, not Combat 18. The journey to New Labour 2.0 has begun.

Haha and this is how loony PC speech/behaviour suppression is beginning to eat itself.
I thought the "banner man" from Burnley was a misguided with his stunt but the reaction from the PC brigade and media was ridiculous. And now he's lost his job. And so has his wife.
Yet with todays narrative that is being jammed down our throats, we were taking ourselves down a route that would have made saying "White Lives Matter" hate speech. Now if you don't think that's totally messed up then you have a problem.
We need to wake up pretty quick.
Yet even as I am typing I am slightly concerned I am going to upset someone. Subtle subversion and control. Be afraid. Very afraid.
Edit, how stupid of me, its not subtle subversion anymore its become obvious.

Is that a serious question he's started ridding the Labour Party of the far left Marxists, Trots etc., this is the start of his Tony Bliar tribute act, he will tackle the Union domination pretty soon, he's trying to make the "Labour" Party into a credible alternative to the Tory's by turning it into a Tory Party

Helps Labour rather than harms them for me. Certainly it's a double win for Starmer. He'll be hoping it knocks accusations of anti-semitism firmly on the head, and it gets rid of one of the few prominent socialist voices remaining in the Labour party. I can see this becoming a saga though - what will momentum do?

Good strong leadership and doing exactly what's needed if you promise to eradicate anti-Semitism.
The contrast with Bluffer's treatment of Cummings is stark.

Good strong leadership and doing exactly what's needed if you promise to eradicate anti-Semitism.The contrast with Bluffer's treatment of Cummings is stark. According to the IHRC definition of anti-Semitism, conflating Israel and Judaism is anti-Semitic. The article referred to the Israeli military personnel training their American police counterparts (which is a fact I might add), it never mentioned Jews. If anyone is anti-Semitic in this instance it's Starmer, which is the ironic thing here........

IF she was being anti-Semitic he should have suspended the whip if he wanted to play Mr Big Balls. The fact is she wasn't anti-Semitic in the slightest and this was a Political action which completely diminishes genuine anti-racism campaigning.

It’s interesting to see the reaction to this. If the people within the Labour actually stood by their convictions the Labour Party wouldn’t be the Labour Party it would be split into two, if not several parties.
The only thing keeping ‘Labour’ together is the knowledge that they need to form a collective to have any chance of beating the Tories. If the socialists did form their own party it would be an absolute bloodbath at the elections.
Corbynism is the worst thing to happen to them.

In my opinion Sheik, Labour and/ or the left( and the fact we can't equate the two, says everything about "their" real prospects) went wrong when they failed to back Corbyn's genuine position on Brexit.....to do so might not have won them the election, but they would have been a lot nearer.....now it seems that they have the perennial in-fighting and the no win situation......which amounts to....even if they have a chance of winning the next election.....they are not the " left " anyway....it seems like the shambles will continue as a sideshow to the main event, but many will be happy to have a moan from the sides....the morally righteous.
