I've thought about this since day One.
Islamophobic, homophobic, heterophobic, hinduismophobic, blackophobic, whiteophobic, dogophobic, necrophileophobic, liquoriceloverophobic, transgenderophobic, atheistophobic, satanistophobic, naziphobic, manunitedophobic, portvaleophobic, christianityphobic, spiderphobic ...
Do you have to be phobic just because you don't like something or a certain group?
Couldn't you just simply think they are disgusting?
In other words: Is it possible to dislike something, someone or some very very much - without being phobic?

Not sure the fear of something is the same as disliking something.

I am not sure what the definitive answer to this connundrum might be. But thoughts regarding the thread may well have induced a mild attack of Sesquipedalophobia- (Fear of long words).

Not sure the fear of something is the same as disliking something. Ok, I see. Very few of the mentioned examples would be admitted by the person in question as fear though, spiders and dogs only?
