He offers absolutely nothing anymore. It's not even worth debating. I would hope we look for a new winger in the close season and get Verlinden fit asap too as relying on McClean to do much more than run around with gusto is optimistic. If Campbell stays where he is, we'll only be playing with one winger anyway, so New Man, Verlinden and McClean are all we'll need. Bye bye Tom.

It’s the Bojan conundrum all over again, where we knew that there was undoubted class in the player, because we had seen him dominate games and we kept hoping that form would return. The difference being that in the odd game, Ince has a good 10 minutes- he’s never ever threatened to dominate in a Stoke shirt and excuse after excuse is made for his fragile mental state. His last good season is 4 years ago- he is never going to come back to any sort of eye catching form. To think that he is, is the biggest leap of faith since Hughes thought Kevin Wimmer represented a good signing. He’s an absolute busted flush. I don't think it is like Bojan tbh, Bojan had a very good purple patch for short period of time, before us Ince was very consistant over many seasons.

Absolutely woeful player who offers very little for us. The stats back that up. Get rid ASAP. Genuine question, do you have the stats? I've seen them, yes.

Ince has made his career in the lower reaches of professional football. He has never had any success at any top club. Bojan, on the other hand, has played with top clubs in several different countries, winning league championships and champions league. Not exactly a short purple patch, even though he did find hard times too.

Bojan was passed around from club to club you're right and never really found any consistant form, and yes you're right it was at a higher level so its not really a comparason anyone should be making, I was just pointing out that Ince has done well season after season where as Bojan has not which is why I don't think they're comparable, I just went a long with the basic jist, it wasn't meant to be some detailed analysiss of each player

He wouldn't have been found interesting for clubs like Ajax and Roma, or even Stoke, if what you said was true, would he? Now while that's a rhetorical question, I'm not going to go into yet another boring Bojan discussion with you. We've had too many of those, so no further replies from me.

Of course he would, he was at Barca with an amazing youth record, clubs would trust their opinion of him to a certain exstent, it happens all the time. Fair enough, this had nothing to do with Bojan really anyway.

Sorry Boz, cannot agree- a couple of seasons at Blackpool in Div1, 18 months at Derby , jettisoned by everyone else, incredibly inconsistent at Stoke ( that’s being kind) and has done nothing at any level above Championship- where at the moment he looks like a fish out of water.

Did his no show last night indicate he was being saved for Brum game?. Hopefully he was locked in a room somewhere, being forced to watch an endless video loop of his “performance” against Wigan.

So we need 5M to break even? Can't see it, can you? No. Loan it is then Or O'Neill somehow gets more out of him. Ideally the latter and he plays well, that would be the best thing. Seems highly improbable.

To describe him as a star is a total misrepresentation of the word and could not be further from the truth, He’s stole a living from us for too long and needs to fuck right off and leave town on the horse he rode in on,
