An innocent white girl hacked to death by an immigrant. Are you going to protest that? No, because someone was immediately arrested and is awaiting trial. What would you even be protesting? Immigrants? It's not even slightly similar.

An innocent white girl hacked to death by an immigrant. Are you going to protest that? That's a really ill thought out post tbh Without any context. This case is still going on and is very complex. One of the reasons is that there was huge social media activity suggesting the murderer was a Somali Muslim when in fact it is a woman originating from Slovakia with mental health issues hence the delay to the start of proceedings. She was detained under the mental health act. How is that comparable to a case of a police officer committing a murder? Comparing the two is careless and extremely loaded. The two are incomparable. Apart from that how does this compare to the situation of the black community in the USA that endured 400 years of horrendous and brutal Slavery, where apartheid was only ceased in the 1960s and where is repeated evidence of police brutality against their community.

Thousands of white British under age girls have been murdered, raped and tortured by Pakistani Muslims for decades that's been covered up because the establishment don't want to upset a certain class of society. Where are the me too, the feminists? Why aren't there marches for these injustices?

Feel free to read some decent academic research papers on the politics of looting. Have you heard about Emily Jones from Bolton? If you are referring to the little girl, I've just read an article. Desperately sad situation. I'm not sure what the link is though to my comment above.

What would you even be protesting? Cops? It's exactly similar. Yes, because there is an endemic issue of police not being arrested or charged for violent assault, and being far too ready to use it when it isn't necessary. They are protesting exactly that. There is no endemic violence from immigrants towards specific groups that is not routinely prosecuted by the state. They are also not a part of a specific group/workforce etc that allows this to happen and protects those who commit crimes. Had there been a cover up, had the woman been let off or protected, then absolutely protest the state doing that. But there is no cover up here, just a horrible crime. In the US there is a systemic problem where several consistent crimes are not properly investigated and officers are allowed to commit offences on black people with no consequence. The death of the girl in Bolton is horrible but it is not an endemic issue whereby the state sees a specific group of people's lives as expendable.

One link here is they both involve examples of gross prejudice against black communities and hatred based on colour. The tragic Emily Jones case was jumped on by far right groups and championed by Katie Hopkins promoting the fact that the murder was committed by a black Somali Muslim immigrant when there was absolutely no evidence for this. The Sun also printed this to be the case and its still openly reported on the internet. The case is still going on (that should be emphasised) but the woman who has been charged is from Eastern Europe and has a history of mental health problems. It's obviously backfired on all those who we perversely wanting it to be committed by a black Muslim, though not before alot of damage is done i.e huge social media promotion of the idea that this murderer was from a community who seemingly had nothing to do with it and a blatant attempt to stir racial hatred by spreading misinformation.

Fantastically, a conversation about the murder of a black man by police for the umpteenth time in the US, and the resultant protests about the expendable nature of black lives in the US culture and system has now moved back to 'what about a white person'.
Brilliant.

An innocent white girl hacked to death by an immigrant. Are you going to protest that? Does your lonely brain cell ping of your skull and give you headaches? I actually can't believe some of the shit posted on here. I know its been said already but There well within there right to be angry. 400 years of racism. 12 million dead slaves (over a million just on the boats) to the modern day equivalent where unarmed minorities are killed for what? A suspected forged note? Selling cigarettes? The list goes on. I suggest you go watch footage of the rodney king beating that happened in 91. Yet again unarmed. The list is endless. Sick to death of this what about white bollocks. We've destroyed cultures to the brink of extinction. We've got no right to be racially angry about anything. Its heart wrenching hearing about that little girl but it is rather irrelevant. How many white people have missed out on a job because of there colour? How many have seen people cross the street in fear? How many are racially profiled by law enforcement and people on a daily? It doesn't happen. On the subject of the actual protests. How the police are handling the situation is utterly barbaric. I've seen far to many videos of peaceful people being shot point blank towards the face with tear gas cans and rubber bullets. They even maced a senator for god sake. There is numerous videos of police attacking media and medics and even planting pallets of bricks near protests knowing full well once riled they'd be used and justified in using excess force. Theres so video evidence of police egging on vandals, destroying there own and random cars as well as shop fronts. Evidence of them keeping protesters outside in cable tie cuffs for over 12hrs with no food or water or access to a bathroom, some pissed themselves, some had seizures. America has at this moment a human rights issue. To say any of these actions can be justified is actually beyond belief.

Is Antifa actually one organisation, or is it just a hold-all name for a lot of generally-left organisations? It's a catch all phrase used by populists to demonise large and small groups. A bit like 'racist' and the left maybe?

ACAB is an extreme left wing acronym? WTF?! If that's the level of your knowledge, I'm not surprised you think the way you do! What way do I think please, saying as you're an expert? 😊 Feel free to pinpoint specific items which I've posted that you disagree with, rather than making attention-seeking blanket responses that add absolutely nothing to the discussion I had with RRP. I may not agree with his stance, but at least he contributed something of substance, unlike yourself. Oh, and ACAB is a grafitti tag favoured by anarchist groups which, last time I checked, were extreme left. www.reddit.com/r/Anarchy101/comments/6sdbf5/what_is_the_reasoning_behind_acab/Anyway, over to you for the psychology analysis, Will Graham...and try to avoid any nail bombing references, you're better than that (I hope) 😊 PS I'd have replied earlier but you seem to be struggling with the quote facility...

People being apologists for this shows how disgusting some of our population is. Per million isnt really relevant its the crime that the person is suspected of, for example I saw something that the number of people shot for suspected violent crime is pretty similar black or white, however black people are much more likely to get shot for lesser crimes and there is no way any white person dies like Floyd did for being suspected of passing a dodgy $20. If the americans got rid of all the guns than the cops wouldnt be so trigger happy and might be a bit more chilled and all the robocop wannabes would get kicked out before they killed anyone.

The idea that white folks in the US don't get killed by cops for fuck all is one of the biggest myths going. Look up people like Justine Damond (Same state as George Floyd) or Tony Timpa (Killed in a similar way to George Floyd - Full footage can be found on Youtube if you're so inclined). Both fairly recent examples, they just don't result in cities being burned to the ground with wall-to-wall MSM coverage so most people aren't aware they happen. The too trigger happy/aggressive mindset of the US police is a problem no matter what your race.

America is a continent built on genocide of the indigenous people (still ongoing) and slavery which has reluctantly stopped in it's most blatant form but has legacies all through the culture. On top of this ideas about ancestral trauma are no longer spiritual woo but science. It has not even begun to deal with the injustices embedded not just deep in its history, identity and culture but literally in the genes of it's people. This is still the tip of the iceberg.
This country is also completely deluded about its past. It takes a lifetime to reprogram yourself more in line with how the rest of the world views us. It's only this last decade we paid off the debt of compensation the government paid to slave owners ffs. And so deluded are our power structures the Treasury tweeted about it thinking it was something of which we should be proud.
And amongst the clueless and deluded you have some real, hateful bitter racists desperate for it never to be healed. Desperate to cling on to an ideology that helps them feel better than other humans on the basis of their skin colour. Cause they've usually got fuck all else to keep them warm at night.
Yes. It's going to take a long time.

It has taken in all nationalities as immigrants during the last two centuries. Irish, Italian, Spanish,German, Russian etc.. And a lot of those people will have been very prejudice against black African peoples. Weird isn't it.

Europeans did as much as possible to erase the cultures of the Americas to back up the delusion we were anything but more advanced in a few technologies and methods of violence. Just one Bishop destroyed all but a handful of the pre colonial writing system of the Americas. What a terrible fate to be colonised by sociopathic, book burning supremacists.
