By way of a bit of sado-masochism I got to thinking about all the great boozers we have visited over the years following the mighty Potters around the UK...and elsewhere I am torn between the Southampton Arms in Kentish Town (v Arsenal) and the Ship Isis in Sunderland, both had a great selection of top notch ales to sample...Southampton Arms maybe shades it by way of their excellent pork baps I'm sure others will have plenty to add to the list...giving us ideas for the future

No offence mate but I’ve got a dozen excellent pubs that we use but I’ll be fucked if I’m putting them on here
For obvious reasons

I liked the Captan Morgan at Brentford as was a GAA pub for many years and good owners and later became O'Riordans.

The Manchester in Blackpool That was a fun day recently. The Arsenal fan trying contently to watch the match surrounded by jeering stokies. You love to see it

That big pub at Blackburn for away fans always has a great atmosphere, The green man for obvious reason but I suppose we've done that many down the years it's hard to recall all.

Wasn't there a boozer with strippers on near Wycombe's ground at one time? Not been. After the experience of "Gemini" at the Chesterfield one I mentioned, it rather put me off after seeing her stub a cig out on a blokes bum and, even worse, set fire to another fella's pubes. Strange way to look after the punters! I bet they never went back in and they were Chesterfield fans! Can't remember much about the game!
