If I remember correctly the Arsenal fans had a social media campaign to out vote the Crouch goal and a Arsenal goal won it much to the embarrassment of messrs Linekar and Shearer. A goal that rarely gets talked about, which I think was superb, was Rickardo against W Ham away around the 2nd/3rd season in the Prem. It won’t be on the list but if you don’t recall it try to find it on U Tube. 😀⚓️ Just watched it again. Showed it to the wife and said “ that is why if I ever come home and find you in bed with Ricky.....I shall tuck him in and ask if he would like warmed milk”

Agreed. Exactly as expected. I've recorded it, did Crouch or Adam at least make the list? Or should I just delete?

I really like these me, don't agree on tonnes of what has been said on them but you don't have to agree to enjoy it.
I know people seem to hate Lineker but I find him absolutely sound, self deprecating and just a decent bloke. Ian Wright talks some shit at times but a nice guy who is really in touch with his emotions unlike so many fellas in the sport (polar opposite of Roy Keane). Shearer really seems to have found a personality in the last few years too, he used to bore the shit out of me even just half a decade ago.

All three of them proving that they know fuck all. All saying that nobody has ever scored a goal like Dennis Bergkamp scored against Newcastle.

I know people will say I'm bound to say this, but Fuller's goal is the better goal in my opinion.

Always thought Bergkamp's was a poor touch with some remarkable quick thinking That's pretty much what Ian Wright said last night mate. Bergkamp told him as much in a conversation about that goal, he didn't exactly say it was a poor touch, but admitted that because the ball had gone the way it did he just decided to go the opposite way around the defender. It was a brilliant goal and a cool as fuck finish in that situation, I just think that Ricardo had a lot more to do once he had flicked it around Larsen and had a real tight angle and could only put the ball where he did to score, whereas Bergkamp was central and had a lot more goal to aim at.

I detest Southampton, but admit Le Tissier was pure class He seemed such a lazy player, but no doubting his skill, and his goals were sublime Missed 1 pen [ 46/47] Crossley saved] How many caps did he get ? Nowhere near enough imho

Nowhere near enough imho The strikers we had around that time though. Was he better than Shearer, Cole, Sheringham, Fowler, Ferdinand, Wright, Owen and even Lineker early on?

Turned it off about 3/4 through.
Ian Wright annoying me keeps saying “ what the people out there need to understand the ball was doing this or that. He used the inside of his foot etc etc”
Does he think we are all morons and know nothing about football ?

The noise by the fans when he flicks it, followed by the silence and then the roar when it goes in. Fuck me, give me football back.
