Just been on the BBC sports site where it said UEFA have agreed Sat 3pm kick offs can be shown live . I reckon it's only a matter of time before we'll be able to stream individual games for a fee .

Another I've just read on there is that Sky and BT have 44 games left to air , the other games are up for grabs free on terrestrial TV . They're saying that as there are no fans allowed , it's only fair ( never thought I'd hear that word ) in this situation.

There was a newspaper article a few years ago by Chris Waddle. My memory's a bit hazy, but I think it was about a trial run in Switzerland of showing all games live on TV.
Very few spectators turned up and viewers inevitably complained about a lack of atmosphere in the grounds. So people were given the choice of either paying for a steam to watch games on their TV, or a limited crowd was allowed to attend for free.
I would imagine that something similar could (depending on how far restrictions will be lifted, if at all) happen here next season. It would probably only apply to Premier League and Championship level - with maybe the difference being that those attending would have to pay for their tickets, a very limited number of which could be purchased online a week or so before a game.

I hate watching football on tv. Had a Stoke season ticket for almost 40 years and hardly ever miss a home game. Also go to a handful of away games a season. When we are on TV away from home live I can't be bothered to watch us - to me the atmosphere of being there is EVERYTHING at the nogger. Without the atmosphere its a mere shell of a sport.

Takes about 20 seconds to load the bbc news page. Lucky to get 250k internet speed in the sticks of Staffordshire. No netflix, facebook or similar here - just good old times like with dial up speed

It will be Man Utd one week then Chelsea, then Arsenal then back to Man Utd.
In doing it they will buy up tv rights but not show other teams. Sky etc create monopolies to make money not showcase football.

The 44 games they're owed, not free to air, fairynuff! They'll all be top 6 sides!
The rest should be free!
Personally I'd bin the whole fucking lot off! 'You the fans make the Premier League what it is' or words to that effect! 🙄

I'm all for it, fans will still go because it's what you do, the atmosphere is 80% of it, you go to support. Irregular fans will still go when money or circumstances allow because it's an activity for you to do on your Saturday. Day trippers will still go for their theme park selfie day.
Illegal streaming has been around for over a decade with no effect on attendances at all, that argument is a stupid myth with absolutely no basis in reality or evidence to support it.
Every game should be televised.

Sat 3:00pm KO. I am guarantee Stoke won’t be in the top ten of games available.
The only way would be for clubs to individualy stream themselves, possibly in conjunction with BBC Radio Stoke in our case.
If they do they will have to sought out the nightmare of the web site.
