With Wright being injured, Shawcross being suspended and Lewis Buxton being Lewis Buxton, could Sunday be the time for mighty Marlon Broomes to make his not-at-all-awaited return from long-term injury? I'm already shuddering at the thought, but, in the interests of my sanity, I am clinging to the memory of Marlon once putting in a just-about adequate performance at centre back against Tamworth in the cup and trying to persuade myself that he might not be as awful as I remember him to be. Oh, that and the fact that Pulis Jr will be providing the protection in midfield.

I suppose it’s a case of needs must, I’m not overly confident though. GPG Gouranga.

Trousers We are exceedingly thin on the ground for Sunday, so it seems to be a straight choice between Marlon and Lewis to fill in with Zak for Wilko and Ryan! If he is fit, I'd go for Marlon, as he has been done a great disservice at Stoke playing at left back when he is actually a right footed centre half. Buxton has at least been played in his "natural" (I use that term very loosely) position and has still looked totally wank and out of his depth in this league. Marlon has only looked absolute gash in an alien position, so I live in hope that he will look the part in the middle. Clutching at straws or what? Having said that TP will probably put Zak at centre half and Buxton at right back. Now, onto centre mid......surely Li'l' Ant will not get the shout? Any sane person would move Liam inside, play Cressie wide right and bring in Demar for his first start on the left, wouldn't they? Or use Liam and Cressie as above and put Dicko at left back and move Pugh in front of him? Li'l' Ant it is then!!

Am I missing something here? Are Cort and Pugh not playing either?
H
If they are available , I'd play Dicko, Cort , Zak and Pugh, before I put the disasters that are Buxton and Broomes anywhere near.

Pugh and Cort are available!
I think Pugh can also play Centre Mid and so he could switch Pugh and bring in Dicko?? Leaving Lawrence, Cresswell et al where they are for less disruption?

Not much muscle in a Pugh/Delap central combo, is there? I like the idea of giving Lawrence a go in there, but I think this is, finally, the time when Tone won't be able to resist giving the son and heir a whirl

As others have said, I fear the opportunity to give Li'l' Ant and his "friend" Lewis a run will be too good to turn down for Pulis.
He would love them to put in a performance (in manager-speak)as a big "up yours" to the rank and file Stokies who denigrate his continued employment of these bags of wank masquerading as professional footballers. His ego will not allow him to countenance the possibility that thousands of us may be right and he could be wrong.
Let's see on Sunday, eh?

Rory the tigger can be right back, do you think he will be played there? Wedderburn, was on the bench against Palace, maybe, he might get a go? Pulis played CM with Hazley yesterday for the reserves, so more than likely one of them will play I think Dicko can play Right back, he as played CB aswell in his day or maybe De laet
Our options are relaisticaly
In Goal - Simmo or Hoult Right back - Zak, Dicko, De laet, Buxton, Delap Center back - Zak, Dicko, Buxton, cort Left back - Pugh, Dicko Right midfield - Delap, Lawrence, Cresswell Centre midfield - Delap, Larence, Wedderburn, Pulis, Hazley Left midfield - Cresswell, Demar, Pugh, Hazley Strikers - Mamma, Fuller, Beast, Perican't, Cresswell (I almost forgot he was a stiker for a minute
We need to make a bench out of those remaing players too

Perican't is an option up front? In the whole of N Staffordshire, surely only TP can possibly think that?

or alternatively......................Cresswell isn't an option up front
