Thanks Google. dubbed this brew the “Breakfast Stout” not because it is an essential part of a balanced breakfast, but because it is made from brewed Kona and Sumatra coffees and flaked oats, which themselves are classic breakfast elements

I bought a milk stout collection from Amazon. Absolutely lovely. You got a link please? The amazon one must have been a xmas special but I’ve had this before from beerhawk. Some cracking stouts and porters. Highly recommended. www.beerhawk.co.uk/winter-porters-stouts-mixed-case

i had a bottle of Coors the other day. my first beer in months
Feel a bit of a pagan as it wasn't a choc chip stout brewed in a bath of nuns using only water from a Peruvian stream. You're a fancy, la de da beer bunch.

Got a bit tired of drinking strong continental stuff and craft for what seems to be the 47th Saturday in a row so went for something lighter this week and bought a crate of Sol (and a dozen limes).
I'd usually only drink this at a barbecue at the height of summer (and even then only out of politeness should the host have handed it to me) but it made a refreshing change this week, possibly because the sun was out.
Cut my lip shaving earlier however so each time I lifted a lime-encrusted bottle to my gob it fucking stung like a bastard.
I'm lodging a complaint with whatever the faux-Mexican equivalent of the Health and Safety Executive is.

Ive heard lip stinging is a symptom when drinking Corona of course but Sol must be the latest variant.

Interestingly, both Corona and Sol are on offer at stupidly low prices in Sainsburys and Asda.
Could it be that they're not shifting because people are put off by the association with a contagious disease / moaning, definitely not gay former Spurs and Arsenal defender?
Or is it because they're both a bit piss-like?
These are the things that keep me awake at night.

I believe sales of Corona nosedived within weeks of the pandemic becoming common knowledge, almost feel sorry for the owners.....

And they are piss, it’s like drinking fizzy water which is my least favourite drink ever! That's why you have to put a wedge of lime in it. Makes it taste like fizzy water with a wedge of lime in it.

I've barely had a drink in months now.
Probably the longest I've gone since I was 16.

I went to the Hopwater Cellar and spunked far more than I'm prepared to let on,on 8 cans and a couple of pints on draught. 2 daft stouts and the rest were sours.
Justified it to myself as I should have been on the way to the lakes for a week yesterday, the second week I've had to roll over for a year now.

Haha, I like that In all seriousness, I've just had zero motivation to drink recently. Lockdown mk1 I was drinking far too much and I think I realised how much drama repetitive alcohol consumption can introduce into your daily life. As soon as football is back for fans, I'll be drinking again but it's more or less killed the occasional piss up at home for me. I just have no interest currently.

x6 Leffe for £7 in Bargain Booze, Oakhill.
It's only 9.15pm and I'm down to the last one.
I fear tomorrow is going to be a 'shuffling round in a pair of ill-fitting Stoke shorts from 2002, eating crisps and avoiding loud noises' day.

These are the exact shorts (not my photo however). There's nearly 20 years of bodily excretions, rock burns (from when I was a gyppo student) and shame ingrained into them. One day, I envision that they'll be on display in a museum somewhere (like the Turin Shroud, only depicting Ed de Goey instead of Jesus).

8 cans of 8 Ace for 31.49 tonight Where are you buying these from? I feel you're not getting the best deal. Go to Metro Stores on Crown Bank in Hanley (opp. the old JJB Sports) and you can get this for around £17 quid and then spend the remaining £13 on some weapons grade dust. I'd call Trading Standards if I were you. Getting bummed there pal.
