I guess we'll never know if a Corbyn led Labour party would have got elected without the spectre of Brexit looming large. Or starmer and his cronies sticking the knife in "You must support the new leader" say a number of the treacherous PLP members who conspired against the last leader from day one.........

Or starmer and his cronies sticking the knife in Or the taint of anti-Semitism and the right-wing press demonising him at every turn... And a lot of the anti Semitism taint being spread by starmers cohort

Correct.
Weird, isn't it, that even with the biggest shitshow in Europe over Covid, sleaze and profiteering, the Cummings debacle, the fallout from Brexit and requiring a footballer to tell them to feed hungry kids, 40% of the electorate still think this is the best option!
And yet some would have us believe that we apparently live in some kind of lefty, "libtard" alternate universe that is responsible for the mess the country's in!
Like I said, I think these people are so dug into their way of thinking that, despite the right being in power for 70% of the last four decades, somehow imaginary non-right governments are actually to blame for the countries ills! England is a very right wing country and it looks like that's not going to change any time soon.
Still, must be the opposition's fault. Probably picked on the wrong ethnic group to really appeal nationally!

I guess any criticism of the current government in the media must also have been supplied by Tories, if that's how it works...?

In response to your post, waga, (since deleted?) that the reasons the Tories have won so many elections over the last 150 years is because they stab their leaders in the back the minute they become an electoral liability...
What, by putting up some new, apparently popular leader for a bit, then dumping them when it all goes a bit shit again? Rinse and repeat...
Any thoughts on what might actually be better for the country and its people as a whole...!
Sounds a bit like Brexit. Never mind what it does to the country, as long as it keeps the Tory Party together and in power, that's the main point.

The biggest annoyance about this is not their poor hating Tory policies, I expected that the minute Starmer won and appointed that Shadow Cabinet, it's their deceit that their continual undermining of Corbyn had no effect in the election result and their utter delusion that their own fuckwitted Brexit policy wasn't the biggest reason for a lying borderline criminal and his band of corrupt tosspots winning a landslide.

He has built a world of unreality around the undermining and ultimately the weaponisation of antisemitism as the thing that got the most traction. It is possible the Forde enquiry might open up that Pandoras box once and for all. I'm sure hes coming up with every strategy possible and calling in every favour to twist/ sink/ diminish/ bury it as we type.
