After god knows how many days of isolation, and I must admit a few drinks I cannot believe what I am watching and listening to.
Our TV license fees are paying these people to ramble about the game we love, and this week about goalkeepers.
I am more than happy to be shot down in true Oatcake Tradition but I have had to turn this off as in my opinion this TV program has degenerated to the low standards of the tabloid press.
The BBC has a WEALTH of material available to them compiled and stored over generations. Why do we have to be subjected to and pay for this rubbish.?

It's certainly better than that pile of shite hignfy last night. That was surreal in it's wankness.

I have not bothered to put it on, can't stand any of them. There are Leicester/Spurs, Arsenal, and Newcastle fans who have a different point of view. They have got rid of the ex Liverpool pundits because the ManU fans can't stand them. There aren't any ex ManU players literate enough to be pundits (Keane just slags everyone off (like me?))
The BBC has contracted them for a fortune and has to use them. They have contracts, paid for by us licence payers. This is the best argument I can think of for not having TV licences.

Didn’t see it but this seems a harsh take, given they’re obviously trying to make the best of a crud situation by continuing to produce something original, rather than just bashing on the 2002 FA Cup final and having done, which is the sort of thing you seem to be suggesting.

They're doing their best to get a bit of laddish 'bantz' going but trouble is the collective psyche of the nation is somewhere else and not interested in this kind of low grade nonsense.

Don't have a problem with the format personally, just think they'd be better off with more enlightened pundits/former players or journalists conducting the debate? Listening to Hugh McIlvanney's documentary about the legendary triumvirate of Busby,Stein and Shankly imparts more insight in just over 2 hours than a lot of pundits could in 2 months.

Enjoyed it apart from Lineker kept picking and playing with his nose? As though he forgot he was being filmed and couldn’t control his hand or nose? Very strange for a tv presenter🤔

It's a fair point and you are 100 percent correct. However the BBC are not content with you simply paying your license fee . They want to annex all their most popular programs to britbox and make you pay again ( for the second time ) to watch them. Even though you have already paid once ( the license fee ) Apparently , if the general public don't think this is fair , then tough . Gary lineker , Graham Norton , Claudia winkleman and co are all getting paid millions and that is what matters to them .

I never watch any punditry of any kind. Too much analysis ruins the game for me, I always fast forward where I can. St. Gary of Lineker is worth every penny of course as a virtue signaller extraordinaire. 'The Workers' (millionaire footballers) should never have to have their pay reduced either during this crisis.
