The new King of Trabzon has arrived. Brilliant how the press thought the first guy to walk in was Afobe, only for him to tell them Afobe is following on behind. They’ve clearly done their homework.

Are Trabzonspor really replacing Sorloth with Afobe? Huge step down that isn't it? Sørloth will be sold very soon, and I think they've already turned down a bid over £20M for him. It's also a bit tricky as Palace still owns him, but Trabsonzpor have an option to buy. It seems like the two clubs have agreed to split the transfer fee between them.

That's a concept that's been entirely absent from any of our recent transfer dealings. I assume auto correct thought better of writing "Gayle"?

At least he's gone. For now. x3 urgent exits to go.

Yup auto correct bollocks Supposed to say Gayle Mind you Gayle in loan with a whopping loan fee and his huge wages wot have been much better value! Rowett didn't like loans Maybe he's learnt his lesson given he has Parrott on loan

Considering the welcome back MON gave him a few weeks ago, he must have been reeeeeally shite in training.

Didn’t MON say he was really looking forward to working with Benik and he would be almost like having a new signing? So what’s happened between then and now? Has he had a proper look at him and thought this guy is going to take ages to get back to where he should be? And a season long loan too, not even a loan for 6 months to get back up to speed and come back in January and then re-assess. Would rather keep Afobe and get rid of Gregory. Afobe worked a lot harder for MON in the games he has played this season, but still little end product. We have too many forwards, people have to go. It's tough competition and no room for sentiment. No one wants Gregory, another striker who rarely scores.
