So I've asked about the best performances of players in our times of following Stoke, so which supporters have impressed enough to stick out in your mind. I was brought up in Selwyn street next to viccy ground .Being a supporter during the 90's whilst in my Prime ,I was impressed by different things than fans today . I got angry with away fans taking liberties ,where as today's stoke supporters seem to go ape shot over bad spelling ,grammar and punctuation. Anyway I'll always remember Coventry city supporters being locked in stokeend car park for almost an hour but they never stopped singing ,although they were on their way to cup final.Chelsea filling stoke end ,one man went to mow.Barnsley fans even putting on a show back in the day . 50 Shewsbury fans bowling round stoke at ten past 3 one Saturday , were they brave or just timed it to perfection. Honestly no support home or away have impressed me more than stoke fans in full voice

Wasn't the wall collapse the result of Leeds fans being in the Boothen, and subsequent fighting?

Those poor 2 fellas singing were just 100% drowned out by those Villa fans in the Butler.

Hate saying this but when we played Man Utd in the cup game where the players got taken off due to the weather was probably the best support I’ve seen at stoke in nearly 40 years.
Also we’ve seen their fans at Stoke and hardly heard a peep out of them.

I think we ended their winning streak of 6 or 7 away games if the same match

Wolves came in the paddock a few times and got a slapping, also West ham and Wolves got taken from the Boothen through the Paddock, always thought the old bill did it deliberately so they would get a second kicking.

Wouldn't say Wolves got slapped in the Paddock but there was a real toe-to-toe with no one budging an inch, 30 on 30. Only time I remember Wolves in the Boothen was around 1975, not big numbers like Man United but they did stay there.

Some Urban myths here or poor memorys.
West Ham were in Boothen and got escorted surprisingly through paddock.
Wolves mostly Rugeley went directly into the paddock and met a load of Stoke.Alot of Stone and Castle ladd involved.
Wolves were on Boothen mid 70s a few stabbings.
Spurs were the most regular 70s
Sunderland first game of season 70s and Villa after their promotion again 70s best support for me.

This is how I remember it as well- Also Sunderland in the FA Cup 1976 was impressive The best/or worst firm that came ( depending on your view of these things ) was Spurs 1977 - in the Boothen for a while , kicked the doors off the Stoke End and Surprised everyone outside the Police Station - nuts There was a huge thread on this about a decade ago - the conclusion I reached was that it made no sense to discuss who “ took “ the Boothen prior to the 1970s as the away fans were directed to stand there- this has lead to fans from West Ham to claim they took it when they brought thousands for a cup game in the late 1960s - The infamous Bill Gardner said that it was the worst violence he ever experienced though following WHU. I imagine the problems at this game and then mass injuries with Leeds resulted in it becoming a Home only end at the end of the decade In my time going to Stoke from 1972 I only recall Wolves getting the result of staying in the Boothen all game but Chelsea claim they took it in the 1970s - the only time I recall Chelsea being there was bizarrely against United when a few turned up for the 3-3 in 1976

I always used to think Chelsea made a decent amount of noise when they turned up to the Brit. Notable mention for Liverpool being amongst the worst.

They give a whole chapter to their trips to Stoke in the 70s/80s and give us plenty of respect
