So, MON and the scouts are looking at videos of potential signings To pass the time away why not start a list of A) who you think they are looking at and B) who you think they SHOULD be looking at These are almost certain to be different lists www.stokecityfc.com/news/2020/march/O-Neill-making-good-use-of-enforced-break/I'm not going to start the list...'cos I aint got an effing clue about football players outside SCFC...

Will they watch one video of a player 25 times or 25 different videos of a player once?

I recon they will be going over vids of; Jordan Jones, Sam Cosgrove, Connor Washington, Kieran Shanks.
I’d hope we are looking at Stuart Dallas he can play several positions so useful, good player and I’m not getting any bad feed back from Leeds fans might only get him if they go up though and deem him surplus.
Paddy McNair is another I think he will be looking at as a replacement for Allen

I would imagine that they will be reviewing scouting reports on a bunch of 11 and 12 year olds, in the hope that by the time they have been developed and trained we might be ready to recommence senior fixtures again.

Stangely I have lost count of the number of commentators who claim they could tell from a very early stage if someone was any good or not. Especially if they are talking about a former "Great" who has recently died. "I could tell from the first time I saw him in practice he was going to be something special" "Even at a young stage in the Academy he always stood out from the others" "From the moment that I first saw him play I thought- this is a guy who's going places". "He was always the player that caught your eye in training". Unfortunately none of these commentators work for Stoke City FC.

I'd be all over McNair and Cosgrove right now, both good ages. I thought Jordan Jones might be a good option in January but now with Corona we're talking about a colossal amount of time out of football and I do wonder how it might affect him.
Woodrow at Barnsley Mpanzu at Luton
Both might be available at reasonable prices, though after Luton's sales maybe they won't be forced to lose Mpanzu as their financial situation might be somewhat comfortable.
Left back has to be the first port of call and if we're looking domestically then...
Manning at QPR Pederson at Brum
Bell at Blackburn and Obita at Reading were both players who I thought had something about them at some stage too.
Also Kane Vincent-Young at Ipswich, very rogue shout but I really do think he's Championship quality. I know he has the mentality, a friend I grew up with who was a really good footballer knew him from the Spurs academy so we played FA (cuppies, wembley, whatever name you like) and that sort of thing and he was several levels above everybody. I know that counts for nothing but what was really crazy was his mentality, at 16 years old his diet was so strict. We eventually convinced him to have a Kopperburg and literally just one bottle had him knocking it in the sink. Since being released by the Spurs' academy he's been great pretty at every club he's played for, he's versatile and able to play right or left full back. Total athlete, absolutely rapid and technically very decent too.

Unwise to go too far on the searching in the current uncertainty.

Eze at QPR made our defence and midfield look very poor...wasn't the only one though
