Really? I can assure you it wasn't me that left it then - I refuse to give that laughably poor and startlingly hypocritical shitrag any kind of patronage whatsoever. Cunts.Β I cant say the same I do contribute most aimed at how shit the articles are though π

Which does beg the question, if some self employed people are under the radar, cash in hand or the black economy as it's known, then surely they cant claim anything.

I read about it only. Have no plans buying there in the future.π The People Health Dpt want us all to use hand disinfectant, but I haven't seen any anywhere the last month!!! And you can't even order it here. I don't get it.

They should be able to claim on what they've declared. Which obviously won't be as much as they've actually pocketed in a lot of cases.

And what about all the drug dealers losing money because no-one can get out of the house to pickup?
FFS, why isn't the govt. standing up and looking after EVERYONE who makes money from breaking the law? What an injustice!

Or also known as "illegally trading".
Their choice so they can't complain, as they're not actually contributing to society in the first place with their choice of "work". Yes, i want them to stay safe (like everyone else) but if they expect free money, they're taking the piss.
I feel far more sympathy for the homeless who can't claim anything and, in most cases, are on the streets through no choice of their own.

Although you are joking about drug dealers I read somewhere business was booming and prices and demand were going up as millions of people are stuck at home for 3 weeks on 80% pay and nothing else they can do or spend it on.

I decided to stay in London rather than head back north but the limit of my lawbreaking was a second walk with the dogs round an empty field. Work from home 3 days a week anyway so not a big change, got a tesco delivery yesterday that will keep me going for two weeks, filled up the car last week and got some cash out so apart from bread and milk wont go near a shop in that time.

I just don't get the 80% pay thing, surely 50% would have been adequate in the circumstances (no travel costs, nothing to spend it on etc, no tax?) etc... an insult to those of us who are effectively taking risks by continuing to serve, for less than 20% extra.

I am waiting for the Gypsy community who travel here to "work" from Spring until late Autumn to kick off about their loss of earnings , hopefully they will return to the ROI and leave our vulnerable old folk alone they have enough to contend with at the moment.

TESCO the fucking disgusting twats among the worst of the big supermarkets;- TESCO has resorted to pulling all multi-pack deals and promotions. The chain of supermarkets has increased the prices of hundreds of items as coronavirus panic takes a hold on customers. Tesco raises prices of more than 1,000 products in past two weeks, including household staples such as pasta, rice and cheese. And Britainβs biggest supermarket chain pulled more than 8,000 groceries from its selection last week. Here are just some examples of the price hikes. Cartons of soup went up from Β£1.25 each to Β£2.50. Packets of sliced crumbed ham shop up from Β£2 to Β£3. And multi-packs of bottle of Diet Coke are now going for Β£8 instead of Β£7. Less than half of all foods for dogs and cats have disappeared, which will be bad news for owners of fussy pets. The price of two times of TOTM Applicator Tampons was raised from Β£2.20 to Β£3.20. A five-pack of bananas has gone up 11 per cent from 90p to Β£1; own brand farfalle, macaroni and linguine pasta have all risen 30 per cent from 50p a pack to 65p; seedless strawberry jam is up 23 per cent to 92p and iceberg lettuces are up 17 per cent at 60p each. The highest price rise was for Merchant Gourmet puy lentils, up from Β£1.42 to Β£3.60 a pack - a rise of 152 per cent. The branded items with the biggest rises include Cathedral City Mild Cheddar up 57 per cent to Β£5.50 for 550 grams; 20-packs of Carlsberg lager up 33 per cent from Β£9 to Β£12; Ferrero Rocher chocolates up from Β£1 to Β£1.25 and a 5kg bag of Salaam basmati rice now Β£9 versus Β£7 previously - a rise of 29 per cent. Of the top 50 price rises for the supermarket, 18 were own-brand products. Boycott the rip off bastards and let them go into administration. Gouranga.

Don't get much of a chance to get to supermarkets as we are extra busy at the moment but was in Morrisons in Chester and yesterday Aldi in Nantwich and noticed the huge amounts of vegetarian and vegan foods still on the shelves. Were piles of vegetarian pizzas, burgers, pasties etc. Was no soup in Morrisons apart from a whole shelf of Oxtail, that I can understand to be honest. The small Spar shops and Co Op seemed well enough stocked to avoid major supermarkets . One woman came in Aldi in Nantwich with her arm out constantly shouting 'One metre, one metre ' as she walked up and down the aisles ! People really seem to be going crazy with the alcohol

It is bizarre that they won't permit his name to be typed by anyone, yet they keep allowing the fuckwit to create as many different accounts on here as he wants.
To be fair Mick I don't think they can do anything about it. Why anyone would want to waste their lives causing grief on a Stoke site God only knows and this fucker is supposed to be a Stoke fan. He works in IT so shouldn't be difficult to disguise IP address's, why any sane person would want to go to those length's is beyond comprehension, what I don't understand is why his name is sacrosanct on here

My son's final year at Uni has been trashed and a graduation probably ruined. My daughter was working in Paris when she had to come home because of issues there and work in New York, Singapore and Barcelona all cancelled now. Great news for me as I get more time to bore them spend with them, she's a fabulous cook and baker and I've taught him to mow the lawns Just awaiting the home made blueberry muffins fresh from the oven..... I'm having to run 8 miles every day to offset the additional calories

Why are you angry at rice? They didn't list Red Peppers as one of the ingredients in one of their packets of rice. (I have an intollerance to Red Peppers) When I complained, they were quite dismissive of the complaint. When I went back to them and complained more strongly, they simply said that "surely everybody knows xyz rice dish (I can't remember which it was) has red pepper in it?" (I obviously didn't and it wasn't listed). I couldn't be bothered to argue, so on to my "blacked list" they were placed. We, as a family, eat quite a lot of rice so that's quite a few quid they won't be getting. They are not missing out as much as Philips & Vodaphone have done though. I work in IT & Telecoms and have placed hundreds of orders for IT, audio and telecoms equipment over the years amounting to quite a few millions of £££s. But none of their products or services has ever been included. I bet all of those companies are/were devastated at your stance Jeesh, Chill out M
