One would think that I'd use this "gift" of time being stuck inside the house to actually clean it up a bit, fix some things that I've let go for far too long--you know, basically address any and all things that have been neglected for the smallest of reasons over the years. Nope, seems I'd rather sit on my butt and be annoyed by that damn bird of unknown plumage in the oak tree out back that has sung "weet weet" every other second non-stop since this morning. I hate that bird...and the neighbor's hound dog concertos in E-Minor as well.

I'm their mate I chase the magpies off

Went out for an 8-mile ramble down the Stratford Canal tow path to Edstone Aquaduct (longest in England) and back via the woods.
Lovely morning, tow path very muddy but great to get some fresh air into the lungs. Lots of new lambs in the fields and the world keeps turning.
In 3 & a half hours I saw 4 other people, 3 guys setting up for fishing on the canal and a lady walking her dogs on the tow path.
Stopped back in Warwick on the way home to get some beef from the butchers and it was like armageddon, queuing down the street, people have lost the plot.

I have to be out and about due to work. An actually sat in the car in a retail park in Crewe waiting further instructions , place is deserted. Ironic because it usually looks like a town infested with some zombie plague. Is like watching Dawn of The Dead in reverse. The zombies have gone indoors.

Next time I won't buy all this paint. Next time it has to be wallpapers. I don't know how it is in UK, but here the paint have been scaringly expensive. I would have saved money by using wallpaper instead.

If anyone missed the episode of Mrs Brown's Boys, which controversially replaced MOTD last weekend, can I just remind everyone that it is now available on iplayer so you can miss it there too.
