Am I misunderstanding this, Bathy, or are you slating The Newsroom? (Grumpy git if you are ) Anyway, fancy slating something written by the brilliant Aaron Sorkin! Amongst other things he also wrote the scripts for A Few Good Men and The American President, the latter having given rise to his incomparable (IMO) The West Wing - for me the finest TV drama ever made and everlastingly re-watchable. I am a grumpy git, but where did you get that I was referring to Newsroom... I was obviously on about Sex Education Oh, s**t. I am so sorry! Grovel, grovel, grovel........ The original post I thought you were referring to didn't include itself in the clip when I was replying to your post, so I'll go back & find it & include it.....'ang about........ ( **slopes out with tail between legs**)......... I hope this works!

Babylon Berlin and Get Shorty on Sky Atlantic are worth a look. Succession is great. Billions, better than Sopranos in my opinion. Better written and greater character development, I appreciate The Sopranos is probably the pinnacle for most but try it and see of I'm over egging it. It'll be interesting to see whether series like Succession and Billions take inspiration from the current situation (if they survive the coming months and aren't cancelled for good). Anyone into League of Gentlemen or inside no 9 try to find Funland. Sick as fuck. Ooo league of Gentlemen and inside no9 are brill. Will checkout Funland, or could you let us know how to get it? I’ll propose Psychoville.

Very, very good and very dark. I actually think LOGs Jeremey Dyson wrote it. A couple who are a main part in it are from Stoke.

I’m watching a German series called Charite at War on Netflix it’s like a cross between Das Boot and Call the Midwife.
Quite good so far.

Ash vs Evil Dead is a blast if you've seen the films. Gore and laughs aplenty.
Just thrashed After Life and am now three eps into Locke and Key which is quite hard to categorise into a genre but is fairly decent so far.

Big Evil Dead fan, series was good ,not fantastic, can't dislike Bruce Campbell Just saw nothing in After Life. One trick pony for me am afraid but many seemed to enjoy it.

Just started Mindhunter and impressed so far. She's not been in it yet, but Anna Torv will be appearing soon and I loved her in Fringe, which was great sci-fi for anyone who missed it first time around.

Has anyone seen code 404 or gangs of London yet?
We’re ready to pick a new series but I don’t want another Britannia on my hands.

On the 'Gangs of London' theme...has anyone watched a film called 'Once upon a time in London'? I think it got rumbled on IMBD as one of those that was getting dubious 10/10 marks upon release that weren't genuine. It is so bad my TV still hurts. The acting makes Will Smith look like Orson Welles
