Is that Stafford rangers level? If yes no relegation is a huge boost as theyve been in the mire this season

Is that Stafford rangers level? If yes no relegation is a huge boost as theyve been in the mire this season I think it is, and you're right about the Boro. They've been god awful this season, in a way it would be a saving grace for them if it got scrapped.

Brilliant, was only talking to the neighbour the other day, that what they should do is show Euro 96 in full again

Just getting Liverpool fans used to the idea... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52079717Should make a fortune on the correct scores coupon at William Hill’s👍 I've already put £50 on England to win it. I haven't been in denial all this time, no I haven't.

1. This season is null and void and we stay up
2. The season is ended as we stand now and we stay up
3. We finish the season (probably behind closed doors in July/August)
4. Some other bizarre calculation is applied and we go down
5. When will the new season start and what will it entail (million dollar question)
6. And probably the truth..... none of this is really important right now

I think next season is already under serious threat.

I think next season is already under serious threat. I think you could well be right. Wouldn't surprise me to see 'next season' being 21/22.

This season will be nul and void. 100%. I hope so. It’s the only plan that makes any sense.

This season will be nul and void. 100%. I hope so. It’s the only plan that makes any sense. It's the only rational and realistic option. We talk endlessly on here about the impact of big money of top level football, for good and ill, but this is one situation that money cannot solve. Call it quits and move on. When Jack Grealish is tanking about the West Midlands pissed up in his Range Rover (allegedly, for any nibs reading), the idea of quarantining a couple of hundred of footballers and keeping them fit to crack on with the season at the drop of a hat is laughable.

And that teeth achingly cliche about football being more important than life, this unprecendent scenario that we are all living through proves its what it is, nothing more than a pastime. And right now, it ain't going to happen.

If I was in the football governance I’d be way more worried about when and how the next season starts than how this one ends tbh. I can’t imagine crowds being a thing come August.

Exactly. I work in a University, and we have two concerns - how the fuck to finish the current academic year on-line (which will be a faint copy of the real learning experience) and more worryingly, what will we do in September. Over half of my students are international and I know for a fact that a huge chunk of them don't want to, or cannot return to the UK any day soon. And unsurprisingly that includes huge numbers of Chinese students.
edit: C-19 could bring about the biggest impact on football since WWII.

I'd be amazed if by August large gatherings are sanctioned.

Me too and the September issue is the one that worries me and how viable my job is. This year is paid/budgeted for (I think 😂) but our finances are based on students through the door. And if you can’t do that then.......
