All Stoke games to be streamed on their own website.
I foresee a lot of Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth in the near future.
In addition to the web site possible problems I have noticed that at peak times it can be very difficult to log onto streaming sites such as BBC I Player etc.
What is it going to be like with a few million football fans all logging in at once?

I'm shit at maths but if this is right, between the 4th and 14th of July a single Stoke player will come into close physical contact for the first time with a minimum of 56 people without any PPE etc
And they expect members of the public to observe social distancing etc etc.
What a fucking joke.

It’s not 56 random people though is it, everyone they come into contact with will have produced a negative test within the previous 24 hours.

I have a bad feeling about the footy restarting not least about our remaining fixtures. My neighbour was saying he was speaking to a league one player who was saying most mid table teams will be playing kids for the rest of the season. I’m not sure about the current bottom 3s remaining fixtures but if they have a few mid table teams it does give them an unfair advantage. I wonder if clubs will be fined for playing weakened sides.

Aren’t all teams going to be playing more kids? The schedule is horrible and squads aren’t big enough for it generally. I also don’t get why they’d play more kids than usual other than it makes no sense for a mid table side to keep anyone out of contract so you might have to there

This will surely see a higher than usual level of resting of players and therefore weaker starting XI's, it makes sense and I would want us to do it if we were already safe.

Which makes it into an even bigger lottery than if they just finished the season now.

I've just looked at the table and tbh there's not many teams that aren't either in with a shout of a play off spot or are a few defeats away from being sucked ino a relegation battle anyway. Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham being about the only 3.

So that's 2 teams who look like they have nowt to play for. Preston in 6th have 56 points. QPR in 13th on 50 points. Then the 3 named above on 48, 48 and 47 points. And then us. Certainly for now it isn't a fear that warrants worrying over.

League Two has officially ended. Congratulations to our trainspotting friends. A further incentive not to get relegated....

I don't think we'll be in any danger of getting relegated, so this will he a good thing. More MON games ready for our promotion push.

I think the fresh start will benefit us more than anyone else. We now have a decent manager and the size of our squad will now actually work in our favour. We were doing well before the hiatus and with the extra break I think we'll push on even harder. And I'm normally a properly negative bastard!

And our best midfielder missing Luton sure to go on a run i am actually genuinely worried it would be very stoke to get relegated courtesy of a global pandemic and incredibly bad luck

We’re better placed than any of them. I get the fear factor but I’d rather be us than anyone beneath us, not just from a position perspective. We’ll be fine Benji. Enjoy the rest of the season! 🙂

This is just all wrong. I just hope they see sense and finish the season and start In September. There’s just to much risk. Total greed and they say it’s the only fair way.

Every time he did an interview he sounded like he'd just visited the toilets in Wetherspoons.

I wonder if Stoke, Vale and Crewe could all be worse off for the way this EFL season will finish?
Stoke now have to play out a relegation fight it looked like we might avoid, Crewe have been hopped down a place on PPG and won't now finish as champions, and Vale will miss out on the playoffs that they may or may not have hit if they had been allowed to play out their season.

Stoke won’t get relegated, Vale wouldn’t have made the playoff finals and Crewe are promoted. All good 👍👍👍
