How the fuck did you know it was a Stoke player convoy and how did you know it went from Stoke to through Cheshire I smell a rat 😁 Not sure it was Stoke players but it was definitely a convoy. Somebody heard this on their CB radio..... Ah, breaker one-nine, this here's the Rubber Duck You gotta copy on me, Pig Pen, c'mon? Ah, yeah, 10-4, Pig Pen, fer shure, fer shure By golly, it's clean clear to Flag Town, c'mon Yeah, that's a big 10-4 there, Pig Pen Yeah, we definitely got the front door, good buddy Mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy Ahhh, the days of blokes sitting in their garage's with a massive aerial skywards talking bollocks and interfering with everyones tv picture. Convoy was such a cool film though.

In the early 80's Citizens Band Radio became a big thing in the UK too, even in Stoke. You could buy all the equipment you needed from local stores like Dixons and it seemed that every other car had an aerial and a hand held transmitter/receiver, and all of these drivers had their own fanciful "handle", just as Oatcake posters have their preferred identity. The craze was massive and I was once in a bad motorway crash caused by someone trying to drive whilst talking to people around him on the radio..

I was sitting outside the Shoulder of Mutton pub about 2/3 years ago and 3/4 cars all with massive aerials came into the area CBing. Was very odd to see.

. . . out of 1,014 Championship player tests. Both from the same (un-named) club. Surely a green light to get the season restarted in 3-4 weeks time?

Or flip the coin to the other side, and its surely the green light to keep them away from the football pitch, instead of risking their health and everybody else's just for the sake of a pointless exercise.

No actually, according to the experts on SSN now, it would be safer than sitting on a park bench.

Come off it, so what do you expect we should just stay in lock down for the remainder of our lives and hope that we will one day find a vaccine? The longer this lock down continues the more lives are being lost to economical hard ship, mental health, untreated illness etc. Its absolute shit and we need to face up to the fact that this fucker of a virus isn't going anywhere. Use common sense where possible and get on with life. It's patently obvious we aren't getting a vaccine for at least the next 6 to 12 months.

Who do the players sue should they or a family member become ill? Is it time for the leagues to be based on finances available? Should there be a premier league 2? Should all leagues recieve TV money ? Many football supporters would be happy enough watching non Premier league matches on TV. We all enjoy cup matches. There plenty of questions flying about at the moment. Time for decisions to be made. I would like to see a Premier league 1 Premier league 2. A championship league. Two leagues combined of clubs with financial difficulties and u23s .What ever it is you're taking this might be a good time to stop

Looks like a few Championship clubs not happy You have to say it's a very fair point given the EFL are taking sanctions against clubs that fail FFP. It's not really on that they are dolling out points deductions against clubs that overspend, yet are then asking them to overspend further to get games on in the current climate. Still, the country is run by a bunch of "Do as I say, not as I do" merchants so maybe the filthy cap fits?

If the PL and FL are so bothered by losing Sky revenue, they could do a bit of creative negotiation and televise every game in every league next season.

Has anyone noticed that the Huddersfield chairmans comments about the pyramid clearly state
“ We have been told by the government there will be no large gatherings until a vaccine “
So essentially that’s it as we expected until the season after next at the earliest.

Keep guessing mr doom and gloom. The guy from Astro Zeneca on Marr yesterday was confident that the vaccine would be in production in September and that the UK have ordered 100million doses. Yes it's dependant on successful trials but lets be optimistic for once ffs. The season after next my backside.
