I've developed a unusual liking for a few strange drinks, I'm currently into Calvados with Fruit, Amareto, liquor 43 and Grappa. Anyone else like an odd tipple....

Armagnac and a decent Cava, or champagne if you've got it. Very tasty unfortunately you'll be pissed before you know it.

I was in turkey years ago, saw someone have coke and lager in the same glass, it’s a nice drink if you get the measures correct.

My Dad used to drink 'Mickey Mouse' which was half lager and half bitter, some pubs were used to serving it but he got some odd looks from bar staff when visiting me darn sarf.
Had a visitor the other day that drank whisky and pineapple juice, thought that was a bit weird, probably healthier than a lot of mixers to be fair.

I developed a bit of an addiction to Amarula on holiday once, weirdly I've rarely drank it since, think I'll grab a bottle if and when all the crisis is done. Apparently monkeys and elephants like to get pissed on the fruit they make it from when it's over ripe. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amarula

Got an odd tang to my tastebuds, really not sure if I like it or not. But then I love Drambuie, Mrs Q hates it.
Talking Drambuie, Isn't there some town in Lancashire that drinks 50% of the UK's intake of Benedictine? Something to do with their boys getting hooked on it in WWI?
Here's a cocktail I created in the 80's to help you all celebrate St Patrick's day. The JCB:
Equal measures of Jamesons, Cointreau, blue Bols. It's bright green rocket fuel and tastes rather good.
For those of a weaker constitution, Jamesons, Curacao***, and Baileys. A pastel green and (very slightly) lighter in alcohol content.
*** yes I know Curacao & Blue Bols are the same thing. I just liked creating a cocktail called a JCB :-)

I kind of invented one although it might be out there somewhere Two parts raspberry gin. One part raspberry vodka. One part grenadine. Splash of Orange bitters. And a dash of blended fresh strawberries. Big gin glass plenty of ice. Warm day 👅

Not really a tipple but; walls vanilla ice cream with crumbled ginger biscuits and a shot of whiskey poured over it is gorgeous. 🤪⚓️

I think you're right re the town in Lancashire, I vaguely remember reading about it once. Here we go, the Accrington Pals
"It is a remarkable fact that more Benedictine liqueur is drunk in East Lancashire – more specifically the area which includes Accrington, Blackburn and Burnley – than anywhere outside France, and that the Burnley Miners Social Club is to this day, reportedly the world’s biggest single consumer".

A lot of the uni bars did weird shit with snakebites (adding "venom" like Malibu or gin), and if you wanted diabetes there were tripods. My new favourite is a margarita with Laphroaig instead of tequila. Smokiness.

Whisky and blackcurrant. Tastes like tunes cough sweets. 👍 I'm all up for mixing drinks and trying out new things, but not when it comes to Whisky. It's sacred and adding water is a sin let alone blackcurrant. Hang your head in shame Sir!

Armagnac and a decent Cava, or champagne if you've got it. Very tasty unfortunately you'll be pissed before you know it. Try an Aperol Spritz or a Raspberry Spritz its delicious. Normally a prosecco or Asti with Aperol etc.
