Speculation really as know one knows what's going to happen with this season.
But, if this season is scrapped does this mean we effectively get an additional season to meet FFP requirements? Thus not needing to worry about a points deduction in 20/21 season
And do we get our 2nd season parachute payment again?

Players contracts running out and expecting less money next year.(talking about your last sentence)

No way will we get an extra year's parachute payment. What would that extra year's payment be for? Parachute payments are not supposed to be a mechanism to enable relegated clubs to get back into the Premier League. They are to enable relegated clubs to be able to pay those players after relegation who are still on large Premier League contracts. Just because the country has Corona Virus those players contracts don't become larger than they were nor do they run for longer. If we haven't paid off player's contracts (or sold those players) by the time the parachute payments run out, that is our problem not the effect of a virus pandemic!
EDIT - there may well be temporary changes to the FFP rules because of the virus, but they will be related to any provable increased costs/reduced income as a result of the virus. Parachute payments will not change - you can bet your house on that.

I think if the shutdown goes into months it will be the end of FFP completely or in its present form it seems crazy as an industry they would stop owners putting their own money in, I fully get stopping owners loading clubs with third party loans but putting their own money in... Agree on parachute payments, yes they might not be any relegation but that just means no new parachute payments it happens in other ways in that teams who are relegated get repromoted so their payments cease, so there will potentially be extra money in the premier league kitty because of this and if they had any decency it should be paid to div 1 / div 2 clubs but I wont hold my breath....

They seem to be still playing, but it's not going to affect him either way because he apparently can't even get onto the bench for them!

Doubt it. We’ve already received the last lot of money.
Contracts aren’t extending for another year either.
