If I've learned anything anything over the past few days it's that a lot of people who follow football also dislike their wives and partners. And husbands lol

Evostik league north played today.
So much for no public gatherings.
Over 3200 at south shields vs Scarborough.
Edit it was against FC United not Scarborough.

my massive list of chores has taken a body blow thankfully. It's been weird not to have any sort of football to enjoy. Not even a final score and people popping in the local from the bookies. Odd times.

Well that was a weird day. No one much in the pub, but huge crowds of people racing around the supermarket with large trolleys. Not much traffic on the road either for a Saturday. I'll thing I'll settle down with a few cans in front of Match of the Day.
OH !!

Iβm on a cruise ship in the Carribean sailing around looking for a place to dock Worse places to be I think π I guess you got a plane to the states and got the ship from there? The US is banning incoming UK flights from Monday, do you know if you will be able to get a flight back? I presume as no flights can go to the states there won't be any to fly back on? If you can afford to mate I would pick a Carribean country, get off and stay there until this is all over other wise you may find yourself floating off the USA coast for a few weeks, don't rely on the government to help, the shit's about to hit the fan here! Good luck mate.

Hoping I can earn some brownie points with the Missus..... She doesn't follow sport, so I'm hoping she doesn't get to hear about this, then I can say......"bollocks to football this week luv, I'll spend a nice afternoon in with you instead!!!" π I actually hate the words 'Brownie Points'. Makes me feel very uneasy when these words leave a man's mouth. Do you give her your paw when asked? Get yourself down the pubπ

My God I miss it already, but it was clearly the right thing to do. People's lives are more important than football after all!

Can't be the only one? I don't watch other teams anyway... It's not much of a sport is it really? More of a money ball.

Evostik league north played today. So much for no public gatherings. Over 3200 at south shields vs Scarborough. Edit it was against FC United not Scarborough. Most non league played yesterday with some postponements due to Coronavirus. Bradford Park Avenue had nearly 700 fans in attendance, up from their usual 250. I wouldnβt be surprised if other non league clubs had a similar spike in attendance, as they were actively encouraging fans from league clubs to attend. Uttoxeter races had 10,000 plus attending yesterday (so Iβm led to believe) as you say, so much for public gatherings. Iβd really love to go to some non league next week but the government may well have all mass attendances banned by then. Iβm also conscious that it might be a good idea to stay put and not to travel.

It's my religion! hows Norway coping Rob Well, it's sort of stopping up. No foreigners will be allowed into the country and airports will shut down from Monday. Only domestic traffic will be allowed, but no gatherings with big crowds are recommended. Big consequences for a lot of people financially too. I'm a teacher and I've been told to do my teaching from home through digital solutions for the next fortnight, but I think it will be extended till after Easter to be honest. From there the situation will be assessed again, but there really are a lot of questions and very few answers right now. I get the impression that Britain really haven't gone that far yet, am I right?

I only miss the stoke game, stokes rapid decline & relegation from the prem killed any desire I had to watch premiership football, I've not watched a single game of it this season. I couldnt give two hoots about the national team either anymore

A lot of people will probably die anyway, but it's important to act to limit the consequences. A lot of people WILL lose people they love because of this virus!

Captain currently negotiating with Jamaica for an exemption so they can fly us home If a no then to Barbados and fly from there Either way a two weeks cruise cut short and only got off the ship once. Hopefully Tui will refund costs

If its TUI I think you're going to be in the middles of an argument.
