Goshen in the first was another calamity.
Dug myself out of the shit with an absolute potshot in the last to somehow finish up but that was the only winner I backed on the last 2 days.

A few less spectators than last year I'm hoping the Irish don't win everything. And I fancy soaring glory to win the opener at a juicy 10-1

The absolute king, Shishkin, pottering around the Arkle firmly on the bridle. 5/2 about next year's Queen Mother and I'd take it.
Appreciate It is also a lovely horse and absolutely routed the field.
Plenty more good stuff tomorrow.

Yes, that was an awesome display.... shiskin(e) is also a cracking little golf course on the isle of Arran, one of my all time favourites.

A shame politilogue had to be withdrawn... Frodon for the gold cup ?

if the course thing holds up well again tomorrow then envoi allen, come on teddy, imperial aura, paisley park, mr whittikar, the glancing queen and storm control are my choices - but there's a few other who fit the profile too. dyor

Course form is more relevant at cheltenham, in much the same way draw bias in 6f or less races at chester, the hill at Cheltenham is a big factor...don't realise how steep it is on the run in.

Exactly, but it's complicated a bit by the switch from the old course to the new course for todays card. The new course is considered a more galloping track with less emphasis on jumping, I've not seen any stats which work out whether course form is as effective if it was earned on the other track.

If you look closer at the screenshots on his Twitter page, it looks like he’s got another big bet running as well.
