After Allen's injury absolutely no complacency from me...with 3 points separating us from 18th
Its still going to be a dog fight with lots of unpredictable results.

That would take us to 51 points. Gouranga. I think 7 wins out of the last nine will b enough for our play off place 😎

Hull haven’t won without Jarrod Bowen since we were in the Premier League. a fucking mindblowing statistic. They need something drastic or 46-47 points could well be enough.

Crazy season. 41 points was enough to stay up last year and the one before that. The gap between 21st and 6th might end up being 10-12 points.

Charlton and Barnsley as well as ourselves have awful run ins. The battle will be won on other teams who are pushing for playoffs and whether they keep up the intensity.
Praying wba beat brum on Saturday and we beat reading, need to concentrate on getting to those next spots
We have to concentrate on maximum points for all games

Crazy stat that they were 15pts ahead of us when they beat us in dec, we are 2 ahead of them now. Looks like they've hit the shit runaway just at the right time, with really tough games, best 2 players sold, best alternative out for the season and leaking goals like a seive, I have to think hull have zero fight in them.

Leeds is going to be rank but I don't find it remotely hard to see us winning any of the others to be honest. So many Jekyll and Hyde teams in this division which are a total crap shoot, Brentford for instance will either smash us 5-0 or look barely capable of playing football. Hoping leeds are celebrating with their flip flops on by time they play us

Wonder what games behind closed doors difference would make?

We will still need to win or not lose the games against our rivals, Middlesboro, Wigan and Barnsley. This is critical as this will keep us apart. The possibility of games being played in empty stadiums could change things too giving advantages to some clubs.

Shoot for positive goal difference as a target.

Shoot for positive goal difference as a target. Achievable, but back in November the notion was crazy.

Seeing all the remaining fixtures makes me think Luton and Barnsley will be relegated, with Wigan and Hull standing a chance.
I see 6-9 Stoke secure points at least.

2 wins and 2 draws should suffice with our current goal difference
Or 1 win and 5 draws, obviously.

2 wins and 2 draws should suffice with our current goal difference Or 1 win and 5 draws, obviously. personally I think 48 points will be enough however expect Stoke should expect to get at least 52/53 points, if we actually maintain the 50% win ration we should hit at least 54 points Don't understand why people are worried about the last two or three games, we are just as likely to win one of those games as any other games

2 wins and 2 draws should suffice with our current goal difference Or 1 win and 5 draws, obviously. We’ve got to be good for 3 more wins haven’t we? 2 home, 1 away? 2 from Boro, Barnsley and Brum. 1 away from Reading or Wigan.

Anyone know where we're at with prospective points deductions for various teams?

The playing to empty stadiums will certainly favour Wigan

Anyone know where we're at with prospective points deductions for various teams? I'd imagine it's too late in the season now for the EFL to start deducting points. It'll be next season now if any get done.

Barnsley and Boro should be certs but no other obvious "gimmes" in that set of fixtures. So we'll need to pinch a result or 3 draws.

We've beaten two top of the table teams away from home so no team is unbeatable in this division. Is in our hands and we should take the points necessary to be fine. Is a bit pointless predicting games in this league as we know but we're moving upwards and games are running out especially for the bottom two

There's about 6 clubs, including us, trying to avoid that third from bottom place.
I think it's too tight to call yet. Lose Saturday and we could well be back in trouble, although I fancy us to survive at the end of the season.

Not long ago there were 4 clubs looking at 3 relegation places and we were one of those 4. Now there are at least 8 clubs in the mix, so that is progress.
taking nothing for granted but our chances of staying up have certainly improved

I have us finishing 19th with 50 points, Charlton staying up on goal difference sending Hull down on 44 points.
