If they were that vital they'd have been in use from day one. Why is Sturgeon waiting another ten days? The majority of shops in Scotland don't open until 15 July. Shopping is an absolutely horrendous experience at the best of times so I don't see a facemask making it much worse. Plus it could prove to be a real boon for certain "speciality" shops.

Lowest numbers we've seen on a Thursday for months, I think. 149 last Thursday. 186 last Friday.

Again, the replies to that tweet. People are genuinely disappointed to see low numbers, with accusations of the figures being fiddled. It's beyond belief. Its as though some folk want it to carry on🤔 It's the same on here with certain posters when they have nailed their colours to the mast that the manager or certain players are shit and they want them out. It spoils their Saturday if we then win.

Today on 'Do as we say plebs, not as we do', Mr Michael Green Grant Shapps. Non essential travel isn't banned though, it's advised against which just means if you go you aren't covered with your travel Insurance. There's been quite a few Brits arriving in Spain since Wednesday.

There's been quite a few Brits arriving in Spain since Wednesday. Tell Michael, Err Grant. Of course the overriding point is that public confidence in any Government guidance has collapsed because of the lack of integrity and honesty of those in and around Government.

Intresting report on BBC news this morning in covid and care homes
Two of the main points
1) Carehomes that offered staff sick pay had significantly less cases of covid
2) Carehomes that used a lot of agency staff had a much higher rate of Infection
As I have said all a long yes the government has made mistakes
But these are private companies playing with people's lives for profit With often little concern for staff
Nationalise the bloody lot of them

If this is true, more corruption At the least, you would have to be on a tender list and show trading history

If this is true, more corruption At the least, you would have to be on a tender list and show trading history and be financially sound. Companies I have worked for would not place orders that were not financially sound and may fail to deliver. Example: Stoke purchased new seating for part of the ground, but when they went to order more the next year the company had gone out of business. I suppose it is different for government organisations; it's not their money, it's the tax payers.

Jimmy Krankie having a go about air bridges in her daily presser with the words “ shambolic decision making again” from the government Jimmy Krankie can go fuck herself. She's about as much use as Stephen Ward. I need a holiday. The kids are a pain in the arse, works is fucking horrendous and Stoke are beyond abysmal. If I don't get a holiday at the end of the month, I might be a suicide statistic!

Me and the family are booked to go to the Costa del Sol area of Spain at the end of July (travel insurance covers Coronavirus scenarios). I feel the next 2 months or so need to be made the most of as we could be in for a very long autumn/winter and our children need something like normality even if its only for a short while.

It'll be interesting to see how the science behind this article plays out and if the cold does help with it. It could explain the timing of it all too? www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/science-and-disease/exposure-common-cold-could-provide-immunity-covid-19/

Yea, why do we need a First Minister who tells the truth and tries to keep us safe when we have a PM who is willing to risk all our lives to keep his business mates happy?

Nobody has any idea if there'll be a second wave or its severity. Perhaps the current restrictions will be enough to keep things under control but the pub frenzy this weekend will be the ultimate test. I was expecting BLM demonstrations to kick off alot more infections but this doesn't seem to have been the case.

Not sure the folk in Scotland would necessarily agree with you, particularly those in care homes. Scotland's record in that regard is worse than England's.
