Just hearing from a mate at JCB that all the 6,500 strong UK workforce have been furloughed............. I thought the government we're going to get JCB to make thousands of ventilators, or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Yeah mate, it's dodgy as fuck. It isn't like facebook where they have to send you a friend request and you have to approve it; on tik tok you can follow anyone at all without that person even being asked.
Not good mate, I'm paranoid about the stuff that's fairly secure never mind those types of sites. And despite him being a sensible kid he's fairly easily led so I think I'll tell him it's a no for now. Cheers for the heads up..... Can you provide us a transcript of your conversation, because I picture it going like this: "You're not going on Tik-Tok - I've been told it's fully of internet weirdos and perverts." "Who told you that?" "Some anonymous guy on an internet forum called mickmillslovechild."

Big fan of this chap for equipment free exercise routines I'd also highly recommend Convict Conditioning for an exercise regime to do at home and the basics would allow anyone ambulant to participate Also here is a link for 'free books' if you can't afford Amazon digital versions b-ok.org/Cheers Goonie. Recently downloaded 64 stephen king books in one go gratis: I figure he can afford it!😉

You could have called in sick with symptoms, you surprise me more than anyone else because you more than most have been extreme about quarantine measures from day 1, yet you are going on a train moving from city city to city, wtf? I've been on a training course recently with a small group of 4, when they brought 10 more in i turned around and went home
Why didn't you go home when there were just 4?
I tried to get my assessment rushed through but it wasnt allowed, 4 wasnt so bad we were in good distance but 14 was overkill for the space provided

Hmmm ok so just walking in the fresh air minding your own business is now under police drone observation.... Just let that sink In. As far as i could see these folks in the video were just out enjoying the countryside. Y'know like we've done for millennia. I appreciate the restrictions and all but this is state Big Brother

I’m not one for politics me, I can’t stand any of it or the people that work within it, but that Sunak is putting on a mightily impressive showing so far.

Loving all of this, players especially have plenty of time spare after training so would be good to see these type of initiatives continued even after things calm down.....

They trip on their walk and break an ankle? They're going to need help - and what if they have the virus, how many people are they putting at risk then? I appreciate that these things can happen in every day life but the idiots driving their are going out of their way to do so. Our NHS is going to be creaking soon, don't be a dick and just wait for a few weeks to give us all a chance.

All production was stopped last Thursday we were all sent home on full pay until the 30th next Monday. This week we received an email from the CEO, advising us that hr will be looking at who would of been laid off and thus will be "furloughed". To be fair to jcb we have been kept informed throughout via email ,so credit to them, they are doing all they can in this unprecedented time.but when your order book collapses, what do you do. And fair play to the government,at least I will get 80% until the end of may, without this I would be royally fucked. What happens after that who knows,we just have to take each day as it comes.and hope we stay healthy. And I would just like to say my thoughts are with all those who have lost loved ones and those that are ill,i say a prayer every night 🙏🙏

We'll all be able to do it again in a few weeks if people just listen. No we won't. These restrictions are in place for the long term. The law has a six month expiry, but even after that it can be extended indefinitely without consulting parliament. It is effectively a decision for the prime minister. We have turned into a dictatorship where it's suddenly illegal to leave your home unless the government agrees you can do so. Terrifying. And yet we have people demanding it be made even harsher! This is no longer a 'free' country and will not be again for a very long time, if ever.

People who lick toilet seats ? I don't know what's more worrying to be honest....the fact that they're licking toilet seats, or the fact that 20 somethings are on fucking tik tok in the first place! Maybe it's an indication of their mental age rather than actual age Mick.

And the government probably will have to be harsher because people aren't listening. But this won't go on forever. I'm no fan of this government but this decision had to be made - we don't have finite resources, this isn't just the flu & it affects everyone.

A bit of rain and cold weather will probably be more effective than any message in reducing the number of people driving miles out into the country.

Had a stroll around Fenton last night for my exercise and it was completely dead, no cars, a handful of people spread out, it was surreal. I think thankfully it’s just a few knobheads that aren’t taking this seriously, and they should be charged accordingly.

I had cause to go into my local town/village today as I needed to go to the Post Office. When I got there the Office was shut and on restricted hours, even though I had earlier checked online that it would be open.
However what was a shock was the extent to which the business centre had changed, with all the shops and services shut down. The whole place was deserted, and really it felt like an old TV episode of The Avengers or Department S, where somebody wakes up and goes out of their house, to find that all of the people have mysteriously gone!
