The UK has the lowest positivity rate in Europe, that's a fact. We are testing as many people as three of the four biggest EU nations put together. Test the same numbers as France and Germany and, given the vaccination numbers, this is over. Exactly we are testing routinely over 1 million people a day and activity searching for cases nobody in the whole world is doing this. We are literally making a massive issue of our cases and the rest of the world will continue to "ban" us from travel while 30k are watching Turkey, 60k watched the game last night its beyond madness 😠

Did you just copy and paste that from September? How many had been vaccinated last September brainiac? Yeah but you don’t have to queue at the bar anymore

How many had been vaccinated last September brainiac? I just find the comment very flippant. With 10k a day and rising I guarantee this is not all over and anyone who thinks it is have their heads in the sand. Stop going to the pub and enjoying table service then you selfish twat

Just 9 deaths today. What are we doing 🤦♂️ The insanity continues. As I've repeated on here, they can only keep jabbing if they keep the fake emergency going, because the jabs only have emergency approval. So the charade continues. And it's also illegal to mandate medical trials, so let's see what they do with that. Everything is about getting this stuff into people. All for something which is not 'a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK.'Government website. www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcidExactly why we had more freedom and less problems last summer, before jabs, and masks, for that matter. Because the jabbing now depends on the fake emergency. And they're after the kids next. IT WILL NOT END ON THE 19TH JULY. Don't expect it, it's not going to happen. You'll only be disappointed. And they have new regimes to fuck up your travel even more, jab or no jab. It's psychological false hope demoralisation. Unless of course the docile masses start showing some non-compliance, and stop imposing this tyranny on others. Get the nightclubs open next week, and we'll take it from there. I wont hold my breath.

Mutations will always throw a spanner in the works, so no it's never going to be all over as you put it. We're going to have to live with it mind in one way or another.

The government say we need to live with Covid, but despite the vaccine success here other countries are doing a far better job at living with it than us.

9000 cases and growing exponentially sadly the deaths will come Oh...do the vaccines not work then? After two doses of AstraZeneca, you are 74% protected against symptoms and 92% protected against getting sick enough to need hospital. Does that count as the vaccines working or not?

Yes it's being debated at the minute, labour have said they will back the government in extending and will not oppose, so the government will see this through unfortunately. There is more opposition from the conservative MPs who there seem to be a few, but not enough to swing the vote. For as long as labour continue to not oppose, the government will extend this as long as they want

Just had an email from a hotel booking in Manchester, saying they’ve taken the difficult decision to close the bar and restaurant during our stay, but rooms will remain open.
Surely if they’ve got any concerns they should shut the entire hotel.
The world is a giant sausage fest.

Instead of the usual fry up I got a paper bag with some dehydrated shit left outside the door. Same price mind you. Same for the restaurant. I suggest you find somewhere local to eat and drink, you can't blame them it's a cost they can't cover with a trickle of people.

I'm afraid there's only one way out anytime soon and that's to refuse to obey and throw the mask away. Once again nobody said a dickie to me today, garage, cafe, shops there were so many without its not worth asking or challenging because they’re sick of this shit too.

But their decision apparently due to the figures in the greater Manchester area. It was the Dakota hotel, £500 a night. They offered the room for £330, I’ve told them to sling it.

Compulsory jab or lose your job, the pay is shit, the conditions are shit and they can bearly get staff as it is. All the oldies have had two jabs so what's the problem? I get that it increases the statistical certainty but I'd like to see the government pull this trick on workers with a bit of power. The residents are vaccinated, do HMG not believe their own science? I wouldn't blame them for all walking out and going fruit picking.

Tossers Just caught an image of the commons on TV, the opposition bench is literally empty, disgraceful considering they are HM opposition, they are supposed to be holding the government to account. Interestingly one of the conservative MPs who is opposing the extension has said the official legislation paperwork contains no reference to a 2 week review that Boris promised and also says the data will only be reviewed on the 19th July - if you take that literally it means that this most certainly does not end on the 19th as that's the date of the decision, not freedom. I don't trust this 4 week delay as far as I could throw it.
