Cyprus to welcome vaccinated tourists from May Before then however they'll just be a bit off-hand and not offer them a drink or anything like that. We had a few free drinks there last year off the waitress, had a great time the few days we were there. I wonder what Spain and Greece's response will be, I'd expect to see bookings take off for Cyprus soon once the flight companies start to schedule the flights now after the announcement

But the short answer is everyone can go it's a question of test or no test. But before all that our government have to sort out entry back into the UK for British holidaymakers - probably see that on 12 April when they announce it all. I think this will be the standard approach this year for countries that need the tourism.

Basically yes, if one of you test positive then I suppose you all lose out. I think it will be a PCR test 72hours before you go so at least you know beforehand, but still it will only take 1 person to test positive. Even vaccinated, Cyprus for example will still randomly test you, so if you are unlucky enough to test positive then I'd imagine they would quarantine you over there

I have after some search found 1 health clinic doing covid-19 antibody tests. Hurrah!
It's possible I will take one in April-May or so, in time before the vaccine injection in late June.
I don't know if it will alter anything though ... 😁, but it would be nice to know, since I've had a period in February with lack of smell and in early March with unexplanatory stomach problems, both these things in 2020 and this year.

]What gets me on these tests at the airport, what if 1 of the kids or your family test positive, that's it you have to go back home ? There are lockers that you can hire at most airports.

What have you missed the most during the pandemic? Family is the obvious answer. But to be carefree. To not think "shit did I touch that, do I need to wash my hands blah blah blah". So fucking tiring.

What have you missed the most during the pandemic? Being able to do normal activities and not be made to feel like a criminal for doing so.

What have you missed the most during the pandemic? Iv worked as normal, Iv seen my old man and Iv seen my closest friend throughout (I work with them), my wife had our first child in April last year so that’s kept us busy. So I guess Iv mostly missed going to the pub. Edit: Although on 2nd thoughts, since the birth of my lad I probably wouldn’t have been allowed to the pub. So nothing really 😂

Our Prime Minister last week said every adult in Sweden will get their two vaccine injections before July the 1st, if they want to.
Since we will begin our mass vaccination in May and most of the vaccine is the AZ vaccine and it should go 12 weeks between the two injections for maximum effect - I don't get it.
In Janary FHM said maximum 3 weeks between injections. Maybe Löfven, the Prime Minister, isn't updated.

Yep, live music for me too. I had so many cancelled or rescheduled last year and a few have gone this year already.

Deaths in the over 80’s less than the 60-79’s again for the 3rd day running Bizarre how they've included a couple of deaths from 11 months ago! Amazing how quickly its plummeted - schools will be the key test next week, an increase in cases is likely as asymptomatic children will get picked up in the testing but it isn't a problem as longer as it doesn't trigger another wave which seems increasingly unlikely now.

When it first came out wasn't it 3-5 weeks in between doses, it was only our government and it's advisors decided they could stretch it to 12 weeks to ensure more people got the first dose

I wonder what the accepted proof of vaccine will be? Can't see an international vaccine passport being ready in time I imagine letter off the GP, that little card people get of the NHS is worth nothing.

It’ll be Saga specials then in this summer for most with the 2 jab policy

This is a significant shift and comes via a press release from John Edmunds of Sage who was talking about vaccinating children last week.
