No people allowed into Sweden from Norway, Denmark or Great Britain.
Swedes working in those countries and returning will have to sit in a quarantine for a couple of weeks each time.

Restrictions from March the 1st in Sweden No more than 1 person per table at every restaurant. At first they said no more than 1 person per restaurant. In reality though, in smaller places it can actually be almost the same thing ... since each person must have 10 square meters(!) of own space, and long distance between tables. No alcohol served after 8 pm and not open anywhere after 8.30 pm. The same when visiting every kind of shop. 10 square meters. It means many little shops, boutiques, could only have 1 customer at a time. Also true for barber's shops etc. Where limited number of customers everywhere then. Shops smaller than 10 square meters might have to close down immediately. No indoor athletic activities or games permitted! It means no basketball, handball, volleyboll, indoor bandyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, bowling, gymnastics training or gym weight lifting activities. Schools half way open. Most lessons online from home. Authority people stationed and guards patroling and examining rules are in place and followed by the people. Police if necessary. Traveling not allowed if the bus or tram at least is half empty. This will mean chaos. All because FHM are shit scared of the British mutation. Interesting article: abcnews.go.com/International/sweden-avoided-covid-19-lockdown-strategy-worked/story?id=76047258Yeah, and I've seen that before. Apparently they now change direction. I will follow the expected Press conference today.

Imagine the situation four weeks from now. People in gardens, possibly more mixing in houses (already witnessed it several times just where I live) I can’t see people adhering in early April What kind of sterile, totalitarian loser is going to be listening to the rules in early April if cases continue to fall off a cliff. Based on the current rate, it's highly likely come early April there will be more daily fatalities from over 30 other causes then covid. Earlier today on the radio they were discussing the horrifying inevitability of mortgages going up. Ghastly, tragic forecasts of the many millions in a few years who are going to be owning properties that they simply won't be able to afford. We haven't seen proper inflation in decades and its going to be a huge shock to the system. We have a hellish few years ahead when it comes to the economy and I just hope in the future that every brainwashed pro lockdowner remembers how bat shit crazy they became in 2020/21 - The year a nation lost its mind. People who look after vulnerable people, the vaccines are 90% so 1 in 10 could die, people who care and have compassion, people who don't want to give the Government any chance of extending the deadlines, people who have to because of work rules, people with a brain Aren't we still on about 1000 a day hospital admissions with it ? Hopefully that will drop quickly now cases are dropping away

I and my family have had CV19 and yes it was unpleasant so I accept it’s real but the draconian measures in place for it are way over the top. My wife has had her jab...works for NHS...and I should get mine by April. We just want to live and get on on with life.

No one on this message board has denied covid exists, we all know it does and we all know for a very small number of unfortunate individuals it can prove fatal and any death of a good person is a tragedy. That said, we can't obliterate an entire society for it.

On tv news yesterday: lock downs have killed 2-2.5 million people around the world. Most of them in what used to be called developing countries.

Great news that is for the industry and I wish them well with their next fight to open earlier. The way they have been treated and used as a scapegoat is nothing short of disgusting I said not too long ago that businesses will start going to the courts to challenge the government about all of this. This could well be the start of more challenges because of our slow progress to get back up and running. They have had enough and are fighting back, quite rightly so

Give the people their freedom back. You asked what sort of people would still be listening to the rules in April, I listed a few. I didn't say anything about taking anybody's freedom away. Actually you called them sterile, totalitarian losers you tend to call people names who don't follow your way of thinking, seen it on a few of your posts, perhaps try discussing in a more civil manner, not everyone is the same, a bit like football managers, some are more cautious than others, but that's for another thread. I will be cautious, but I will still go out, I'm late 50's, the last few years my blood tests show my red and white blood cells are low, I can take iron supplements for the red but you can't boost white which is needed to fight off infections, I'm not on the at risk register so having to wait for my jab like everyone else, not everyone is still young and in absolute perfect condition

Read that. Absolutely no way should we be forced into wearing muzzles again next or any other winter. If people want to wear one that should be their choice. These health workers are turning into puritanical zealots over this. Trying their level best to dictate how we should live our lives.

My Mrs has been furloughed and quite enjoyed the home schooling stuff although it inevitably had its moments. Since the wee lass went back last week (P1-P3 up here) she is absolutely bored off her tits - once the dog is walked she's absolutely scrathcing about for stuff to do.

One of the things, that I think that has frustrated people is that those people who were furloughed have had holidays rolled over (not their making), but those who have worked and been unable to take holidays are potentially being penalised (as not rolled over is my understanding), again probably through no fault of their own as their employment demands have meant they have struggled to get time off, along with having nothing to do Creating another divide and conquer scenario it would seem across the country to put people against each other

I would imagine after June 21st they would cease to be mandatory but I do recall Van Tam saying it may be a good idea for masks to be used during the winter some time ago. No hint at it being mandatory though. However, you can certainly see it coming! Like I said earlier though, it should be through personal choice if it's the case.

I've just got visions of a bloke sat on a deckchair in his front garden drinking a beer shouting "See you later dickhead" and "10 hours of drinking and Netflix for me you losers" at passers by as they make their daily commute to work......

I don't know anyone who is "enjoying" being locked down, but I do know plenty of people who are just trying to make the best of the situation they are in. This attitude imo stems from what seems to be a prevalent one in this country. Like with people on benefits. Most are on them for a good reason but then you have people who are one sacking away from themselves being on benefits being really fucking vile about those people. And in the same breath not wondering about the conditions politically that allow the situation to happen. The obsession with benefits scroungers in this country is pathetic, if only they took so much interest in the corporate tax evaders etc. Yet they buy into and forcibly propel this venom against people they have way more in common with than the people who are really do the harm. Shit fucking country.

Nothing about the new restrictions from today at text-tv. Must follow the Press conference at 2 pm. Sorry to hear how bad things are with you. We should all spare a thought for Czechia where things are dire: www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/czech-republic/I used to have regular meetings with a great Czech guy and visited Ostrava (only saw Prague airport unfortunately). Feel for them.
