2 points from their last 10 games. 8 goals scored 24 conceded Stats like that give me the heeby-jeebies. Let's hope they haven't got a striker who hasn't scored for four years.

They do have a striker who Barnsley loaned them a few weeks ago (Wilks) to "help" them (i.e. took pity on them, or inserted a "fifth column" activist into their ranks - take your pick) after they flogged their two best players in the last window. He may have the unwanted tag of playing for two relegated teams in the same season.

I’d go 4-2-1-3 if there is such a formation Butland Smith.....Collins......Batth......BMI ..............Allen.....Cousins........... ..................Powell....................... Ince...........Vokes...........Campbell
I’d drop Clucas who would be unlucky but doesn’t do enough in my opinion. I’d play Campbell wide left in a 3 prong attack, feeding off Vokes flick one and not having to play with his back to goal

Is there any possibility we may be playing Crewe and Vale next season? Imagine that! Has that ever happened before? 😕

I think we go
Butland
Smith Batth Collins BMI
Cousins Allen
Campbell Powell Clucas
Gregory
subs - Davies, Lindsay, Edwards, Thompson, Ince, Ngoy, Vokes
(If Jimmy was fit, he would come in on the left, Clucas would drop back alongside Cousins or Allen and the other would drop to bench in place of Ince)

Not been a supporter for that long then 🤔 It's happened before at this stadium We were even a league below the pair of those fuckers for a few seasons too! Honestly thought those days were to be consigned to the depths of nightmares, but it seems that they are both hitting form in league 2, and we cant get out of this mess, if you are on play-off form this calendar year, and you still drop into the bottom 3, you start to wonder if fate is against you... Oh fuck, Forest have Scored, maybe something finally goes our way!!!!

Absolute must win for us on Saturday and sod what the others do! Hull played with pace and pretty well after conceding early in the first half against Leeds and then rolled over in the second. Absolutely crucial we are solid and don’t concede early doors. Personally I’d drop Ince and play Campbell on the right. Let Vokes lead the line and use Thompson on the left with Powell going across the middle with Allen and Clucas. Back four should be Smith, Batth, Collins and hmmm Indy and hopefully Butland grows a pair by then. Absolutely no passengers essential for this weekend!

Goal: Federici; RB: Smith, LB: Lindsay; Centrebacks: Chester, Collins, Baath/BMI; Midfield: Thompson, Cousins, Allen, Strikers: Diouf, Campbell. Subs: Oakey-Boothe, Powell, Davies, Ngoy. Sell the rest.

We'll beat these handy. Hull are atrocious, whereas we've been on solid upper mid table form and in excellent home form. I also fully expect us to beat Barnsley and Middlesboro at home. That'll take us to 48 points. However, it's looking increasingly likely that this season it's going to be a very high points tally to stay up. We'll likely need another win or quite a few draws to get over the line.

I’d play a proper shape on Saturday with Powell in his correct position....so I would go for:
Butland
Smith Ba’ath Chester BMI
Allen Clucas
Ince Powell Ngoy
Campbell
Take the game to them...

As we know in this league nothing is guaranteed. Hull aren't going to lose every week and Saturday won't be the the be all and end all of our season.

Just how much damage has was done last week: The playing of Campbell against Blackburn and not resting him? The resting of Campbell against a poor Luton defence? The negative tactics of MON against Luton? The idiotic penalty foul committed by Chester?

Clucas can be quiet but the most likely to pop up with a goal

In my opinion our strongest performance this season was away at Huddersfield, in that game Vokes played through the middle and Campbell was able to run at defenders and not play a 9 type role

Predicting a close encounter here. Two teams up for it and who are requiring vital points.
8-0 should do it.

Away from home he gets that bit more freedom on the break. Would certainly go with that forward line, Vokes gets stick as has no mobility and relies on service. Sheff Weds when he came on at home he got that and got on the end of a few things. Personally think he's a good target man but not a lone striker.
