With Ireland games coming up and Stoke not higher than he probably hoped, is he going to be able to give Stoke his best

Hasn't he got a 1.5 million bonus for staying up? I feel he'll be plenty motivated.

If he wants that fat load of cash for all his Guinness and Whiskey supplies for keeping us up, then you can bet your arse we have his attention.

Is one maybe two games. He got them there, only right he manages them for me. No guarantee of a win in Bosnia but personally glad he's doing it.

It was only a matter of time ....
I actually thought that this sort of post would have happened long before now. I suppose that the usual two anti MON posters will be here soon.

We've had numerous threads like this since he became manager, it's groundhog day every day on the oatcake

It’s repetitive but it is (still) an issue - mainly because of the lack of any clarity about what happens after these games, particularly if they qualify.

For those worried about Michael's double-jobbing, he's at least arranged for NI to hold their play-off preparation camp locally:
Will be handy for him to nip back to the bet365, should he inadvertently walk off with the key to the Petty Cash box or something.

If we get positive results in the next 3 games he can go golfing for a fortnight as far as I’m concerned......

He said on monday in the fans meeting that he only drinks Guinness in Belfast. I think we should get a picture of this and put it on the side of the stadium,is ab faye still on there? I never go that side.

What's he doing if they get through...…... or if they don't get through, anyone know? Well after the Euros get cancelled - in four years time you will have to go through all of your pain and suffering again. However by that time he will probably be managing a proper club.

And Tony Scholes will be asking us what the issue is at left back and be unaware if any buses are going to Chasetown in the Staffs Cup Final.

If letting him continue to manage NI till the conclusion of their run in this tournament was necessary to signing him then we made absolutely the right decision.

UEFA today have asked all the countries involved to do everything they can to ensure the finals go ahead as planned. UEFA move to ensure Euro 2020 goes ahead According to the Associated Press, UEFA ‘is asking governments across the continent to ensure the European Championship goes ahead in three months despite the coronavirus outbreak.’ UEFA believe a city can still host a game, as long as they have the infrastructure to provide for both a flurry of football fans and Coronavirus patients. That supposedly comes after advice from the World Health Organization. It’s also claimed that if one venue is not able to host a game, the fixture could be moved to another host nation. With 12 stadiums in 12 countries, this would supposedly give UEFA some flexibility to work around any issues. Despite all the problems Coronavirus is causing in the sporting world, the Associated Press report ‘UEFA is trying to ensure its flagship event is not derailed by the virus.’

I'm glad O'Neill is being given the opportunity to manage NI in the play-offs, I hope they get through and I'd love to see the club give him the go ahead to manage them in the finals.
He's clearly a loyal and passionate man - if we honour his loyalty and passion we'll be the one's to benefit if he transfers his loyalty and passion to us for recognising and respecting his long standing highly personal pre-existing commitments.
Or we can do what we usually do - moan like a bunch of prima donna prawn munching wannabe Arsenal fans who don't get that we're not the centre of the footballing universe...

By what their FA said and Tony 'what issue at left back' Scholes said at the time. No mention of continuation, as it would have been the act of a mental football club, as two consecutive breaks was fuckwitted enough in the first place. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50338483

Must admit I'm pretty chilled about this.
I've no issue with him having a life outside of Stoke City, with it comes wisdom and perspective, it may even be a good thing,

Thanks for the kind words in your first paragraph.
Regarding the second, I'd say you have it spot on: if you are loyal to him, he'll be loyal to you and both parties should benefit.

I honestly think international management is a scam. What do they do for the majority of the time?
