A decade since the Shawcross Ramsey incident.
If there's one thing I really wish had never happened it's that. Even bearing in mind the horrendous scale of the injury the whole hullabaloo surrounding it was ludicrous. Credit to Ramsey for getting fit again and continuing his career and when he did that should have been the end of it. Instead, each time we played them it got dragged up and the same old bollox was churned out.
Wenger could have defused it all anytime he wanted to. And, obviously I can't prove anything, but I reckon Wenger instructed Ramsey not to publicly accept Ryan's apology.
An utterly shyte episode.

The club had a hand in it too by being nice and not wanting to cause a fuss. They should have done more to protect his reputation and the club's. There's photographic evidence that proves it wasn't the collision that broke Ramsey's leg and that it was a freak accident. When Ryan collided the damage was all ready done. But its ancient history now. It's the arse fans who wont let it drop.

I spoke to them and it wasn't a civil exchange. And the thing is, Ramsey isn't the only ever player to get a broken leg.
