Luton are going to be so motivated Saturday,a win for them and they've got as much chance as anyone of staying up

Boro, Reading and Hull all have lousy form since the New Year. They're dropping as quick as the teams below us are rising.
Another must win Saturday.

Hull City are the ones in real danger. Selling Bowen and the Polish lad to WBA on deadline day without replacements is biting them on the arse.

Looking at that table, I wondered where it was compiled. The "key" at the bottom explains the notation for matches won, lost or tied. Since when in this country has a draw in a football match been a tie ?

Remarkable, that it's now 3 from 9, whereas in December after our recovery, we were looking at a mini table of four and hoping we could finish top of it in 21st.

If Blues got another substantial points deduction as has been suggested they might, that puts them right back into the mixer too! Think Derby & Sheff Weds are walking a tightrope too!

Us, Luton, Barnsley, Wigan and Charlton have all looked doomed then entered periods of playoff form. This league is tough as fuck and how the mini-league of 4 has caught up with the rest since January shows how tight it is. Anyone out of there could get relegated - we're probably one injury at left back away from being up effluent creek without means of propulsion.

It's been a while since I've had this much interest in results for us and others... it certainly isn't boring, but is no good for my heart or mood. 😂😂

Middlesbrough are like a lead balloon atm and have an inexperienced manager in woodgate, they made a good point last night by saying a lot of the clubs being dragged into it are new to it and might panic where as the clubs like us and Luton have been down there most of the season and are used to the pressure and our form has improved, in other words momentum is crucial at this time of the season.

You make a very good point. If they get any significant points deduction all 3 of those are in the mix as well. And none of them are in particularly good current form.

That would be a case of Ince on the left n Diouf or Ngoy on the right😬....we’d miss Powell massively, i like how he’s linking up with Campbell.

Dave, he was stuck out on the left and did what he could but it's not the best use of him and you know that. Ince, on the other hand

Once Hull sold Bowen and Co and after I saw them taken apart 0-5 by Brentford, I put £20 on Hull to go down at 20/1. Their price is now 6/1 and they h@ve tough games incl Leeds this weekend. We need to maintain our home form and get something at Luton on Sat.

I think Reading will be OK due to decent goal difference But even if you count their superior goal difference as an extra point they are only, in effect, 5 points ahead of us. As we've seen recently to our cost, 5 point cushions are very quickly eroded in this league. Reading are most definitely in it unless they arrest their current slide.

Luton, Middlesbrough and Hull - the latter two are in terrible form just at the wrong time, as Wigan and Barnsley are picking up points.

Very worrying times especially if we pick up further injuries or red card suspensions as the weeks go on.....also will any team sack their manager in an attempt to save themselves?
Next two games massive!

It’s ceartainly interesting isn’t it ?
I remember not that long ago immediately after relegation there were threads about the Championship and how bad it was going to be.
Dare I suggest that as painful it is it far more enjoyable than Prem Lge mediocrity playing the cheating likes of Bournemouth etc?
